Love the look but to narrow. Wore around the house for an hour or so and foot started to hurt.

It seems that there is an issue with this shoe (and another pair I own) being 4E, but seemingly just a standard fit. Both were manufactured overseas. My 990v4 are perfect. I do love that these are very light, and am at least about to try and get a short session on the treadmill in, in them. But the toebox seems like it will cause problems. I really want to love this pair.

I usually buy men's running shoes because the toe box tends to be larger than women's sizes so thought I would try these. Unlike Nike's, one size down from women(size 9) that I wear was too large for me. And this color, supposedly mercury red is very burgundy. Since burgundy is one of my least favorite colors, and the men's size 8 is too long, these go back.
I'd also recommend:

Outside of the sole would dig into bottom of my foot. Tried wider, and a larger size, same result. Pretty comfortable shoe otherwise. Just not for me.

For New Balance these ran VERY narrow. Typically NB is not so narrow. had to return.

Felt too flimsy for me. I need something with more support. very light so felt good until I walked in them. fit was too wide for me.
I'd also recommend:
New Balance sturdier sneakers.

I ordered these in an 11 (my normal size for New Balance) and they felt comfortable but were a bit more narrow and took longer to break in. I had purchased them in September of 2018 and wear them daily. I have noticed that the insole is deteriorating only 4 months after I purchased them.
Overall, they became more comfortable and I really like the style but my last pair from New Balance lasted me close to 2 years in a different New Balance style.

This is a mostly fabric shoe with minimal support. I bought it on sale so I am going add an orthotic rather than return it. I imagine my toe will wear through the upper before the tread wears out.

First of all, let me state this. I'm a middle aged man, 6'5 300+ pounds with size 13 EEEE feet.
So I've had many shoes from many different makers and I don't mess around when it comes to my feet.
These leave a lot to be desired.
The facts(good). They look great, they're light weight, stylish and length was good.
The facts(bad). They're no where near the width marked. Maybe E, but no way EEEE.
The support, both arch and heal is very poor and the foam inserts do almost nothing.
To make things worse, the sole is undersized. Like they put a rubber sole with D width on a shoe that's suppose to support EEEE. So part of the width of your feet are not supported at all.
I had them on for 2 hours and the muscles in my feet and legs started to hurt.
I wanted to like these and was swayed by some of the reviews, so I made the purchase.
Because this brand is known for it's wide widths and has a good reputation.
But be warned, If you decide to buy these, you better not have feet with a width that's really EEEE.
But if you're just E or smaller, then these labeled "EEEE" shoes might fit okay.
Sorry, these just don't measure up in more ways than one.

Not a fan of these. Was looking for a cheaper pair of running shoes and these looked and felt good when I first tried them on however I could tell the support was insufficient and I suffered from a calf pain that magically disappeared when I changed shoes!

The show started out great. But I've only had it for two months and the sole has already worn out. I do wear them daily but I'm not overly active. I've never had a pair of day-to-day sneakers wear out so fast.

I bought the grey version in wide about a month ago. They are awesome, light weight, wide, and have a simple sleek profile. Naturally, I decided to order another pair in the exact same size but different color. I wear 11.5 wide in this shoe. With other NB I wear a 12 wide, but not this shoe. It's roomy and soft upper necessitated going a half side down. The new pair arrived, however, and were a total disappointment on two fronts; First, they just didn't fit, were much narrower than the exact same ones I had, and gave the feeling I should have gotten a 12 again. Second, this pair had been used by some previous owner for a day or two, returned to Zappos, and sent to me. The uppers were creased to the PO's foot, the soles dirty, and the laces pulled and adjusted to their foot. There was no paper stuffed in shoes as a new pair would have. I'm pretty flexible, but this pair of shoes were over the line. I find New Balances inconsistent sizing really irritating as ordering online from them is a crap shoot, and for the first time I have experienced a significant glitch in Zappos' quality control. What a pain.

I purchased these to replace a worn out pair of New Balance M630CG5. Purchased the exact same size and width, but the Arishi v1 was significantly narrower and about half a size shorter. This is especially true around the ball of the foot - very tight there.

Too small had to return . Normally wear 11.5. 4e. Also the foot bed on the right shoe was wrinkled and not comfortable.

Nice looking, very lite, but NOT 4E width!!!
IMO the only difference between this shoe and those of normal width is the FALSE label in the 4E shoes.

We had to return these since they really felt too narrow, especially considering I ordered a 4E.

I had the 4e wide 10.5 and 11 they are way to narrow my feet hang over the sides. I have very big feet but the padding is good.

Yet another pair of New Balance sent right back. 4E width yet the sides of my feet were squeezed and over the edges of the shoe.

This is certainly not a NB 10 4E. I couldn't even get my foot into the shoe with a thin sock. Not sure what has changed wth NB width sizing, but only the old standbys 608/623 seem to be what they used to be called a 4E. The current NB shoes that are newer ,seem to use the Nike width standards ,which also don't fit like a real 4E, more like an E width.

I love the fresh foam 1080 and thought these would be a cute alternative. The exact same size runs MUCH narrower.....I had to send them back
