Hello Timberland fans, I wanted to write my 3rd review regarding my experience with Timberland. My 3rd pair arrived and in perfect condition. My second pair I ordered had a possible defect in the leather on the tongue of the boot and the gum bottoms. That could happen to any company. I personally stand by Timberland and their reputation as I have owned a pair since 1993-1994 (the original classic premiums that everyone knows and loves) The quality on the final pair (ordered 3 total the first was one size too large, second was a factory defect and third were perfect just as the first pair was) was amazing. They are built perfectly and the stitching and soles are built just as they always have been, perfection in quality. regarding sizing please see my other 2 reviews recently. Timberland recommends going down a half size but that is a very hard to calculate, it all depends on what shoes you are referencing to size. I personally found that going down a full size from your Nike brand sneaker size to be a much better fit. Also people may want to grow into their boots and I am fully grown. I found the 11 wide to be perfect for me. (the wide size does not seem to be as available in retail stores) but to me personally they fit better for a wider foot. I hope this review helps you. Thank you Timberland! I also recommend purchasing the Timberland Balm Proofer XL and following the directions on the spray bottle. It does not mess up the leather at all if you follow the directions and keeps them protected from stains. Thank you Timberland!

Have had the boot for 2 weeks now for work and I love it! Its reasonably comfortable and its the most water proof boot so far. Not to heavy either!

Fantastic boot! Perfect fit!

Let me start off by saying that I have read almost all the reviews for this particular boot (The Premium 6 inch Wheat Timberland) on this site to try & get an idea of sizing. I have had Timberland classic 6 inch premiums since 1993. They seemed to have increased in quality with the addition of the Primaloft warm lining & anti counterfeit measures since I purchased my last pair years ago. Some other reviews say they have decreased in quality over the years but I do not currently see that. They are exceptionally well made as they always have been for me. Regarding sizing: I wear a 12 Nike brand & a size 11.5 in New balance. Timberland recommends that you size down a half size if you speak to to them on their live chat which is excellent (even from a cell phone) My confusion came in reading other reviews that all state they were happy and fit "true to size" but this depends on what shoe they are comparing to. When shopping from home, I recommed taking the time to chat with Timberland and reading the reviews to get an idea of the size you need. The shipping was amazingly fast and they arrived in perfectly brand new condition and perfectly well made. The stiching and workmanship on the boot is top quality & excellent. I ended up ordering an 11.5 wide on my original order with the logic that I am mostly a size 12 in Nike brand shoes. I ended up with about a full size too much room on the length. The width is perfect as I have a wider foot. So when ordering depending on what you want in regards to fit, if you want a little room to ever wear thicker socks or double socks I would recommend going a half size down as Timberland states and that still leaves a lot of room! (with double socking & going down only a half size) If you wear one pair of socks I would recommend going down a FULL SIZE from your tennis shoe/sneaker size. All different brands of tennis shoes and sneakers fit differently so I am using Nike as a reference. I hope this helps you. Thank you Timberland!!

I bought my son a pair of 6' premium waterproof boots for Christmas, they are so well made and really good looking. He loved them!

Love everything about this boot except the insoles. For some reason the insoles have a seam and it's right where your arch is. My black pair the seam is more towards the toe which is much better. But besides that I love them!

Timberland never disappoints. My new black boots not only look great, they are very comfortable.
