After lots of online research, and trying on a pair of Kamik snow boots at a store, we decided these were a reputable and affordable brand for our toddler. Our 3 year old is a size 9 shoe, but the 10 fit best (the warm insert required a size up for comfort/socks). So we ordered a toddler 10 in the Snowbug F. These boots are adorable and fit nicely. The upper part opens wide and they’re very easy to get on and off. My 3 year old daughter said they were comfortable to walk and run around in. But because of the placement of the Velcro strap (lower, towards the ankle) I noticed that the “furry” tongue/upper remained flopped open and not fitted to her calf. They looked like they may not offer much support or even slip off during play. (We didn’t test them outside or with snow pants, so this may not be the case). Also, I noticed the stitching was coming loose at the front of the boot on top of the foot. I decided to send them back and try another Kamik boot (Buzz) in a style that offered two Velcro straps for more structure at the calf. Mostly a perfect boot, so hopefully the other style works for us!

Kamik snow boots are a stable in our home every winter for both girls and boys. They are warm, snow proof and easy for kids to take on and off themselves. They are always a little 'bulky and stiff' for the the first 2-3 wears due to the rubber soles, but after a couple of days with outdoor snow play, they are just amazing. We never buy any other brand for our kids' winter boots. They are a must for every snowy days or days with wet snow. They are true to size with a normal sock, but you do not need warm socks inside these boots!

I bought these shoes for my toddler daughter who wears orthotics- and SMO and an AFO. The Kamik boots fit nicely over the orthotics and seem to be a good fit for the Chicago winter. We need to explore the snow, orthotics or not, and these shoes are helping us do just that.

These boots are very nice for my four year old daughter but i found that they are ineffective in keeping the snow from getting inside of the boot as the velcro strap does not close the boot snug enough up around her leg. As a result, the boots will be returned.

So warm and cozy! Tried Sorel and those are so heavy for little feet. Tried Merrell and took forever to get on. These are EASY, warm, and light. My toddler loved them, perfect for Chicago winters to make right up top so snow won’t fall inside! Love Zappos making it easy to try a bunch and return!

My daughter wears a size 4 to 4-1/2 in Stride Rite shoes, and these fit her great in a size 5! They're also very easy to get on and off, and seem warm and waterproof.

These boots are not made for playing in the snow. The tops flop open no matter how tight you try to close them and snow pants do not stay over these boots. Any type of outdoor activity seems to cause the boots to come out of snow pants and then the boots fill with snow. I would need to fix my three-year-old's snow pants and boots every 10-15 minutes. Her feet did seem to stay warm as long as she didn't play in the snow, but once she was running around and climbing snow would get into the boot and she would complain that her feet were cold.

Easy for my 4yo to get on and off. She says they feel good. Only con is in deep snow some gets into boot from top.

Great fit. Easy for my 3 year old toddler granddaughter to get on and off herself. Loves them.

My 3 year old granddaughter put these boots on easily and loves them. Runs all around the house with no problem with comfort.

I love the boot... only thing is that the strap wouldn’t make it tight enough to make the boot snag around my daughters leg!

These boots are awesome! They are super lightweight, easy to put on and take off and warm! The color is great too. They are not bulky boots at all! We had Columbia's last year and they were so heavy and hard to put on. Thanks Zappos for another great product and as always for your speedy service!

My 18 month old hasn't yet tested these in the snow, but they are definitely warm, and SUPER easy to get on and off. The first couple days after they arrived, she insisted on wearing them (even though it wasn't that cold), so they get the toddler stamp of approval!

The boots fit well, but my daughter-in-law felt the Kamik Stance provided better support for my 2 year old granddaughter.

Good boots for the money and warm for Midwest winters. The boot tongues and the velcro strap seemed to bunch up funny if care wasn't taken to straighten the tongue when putting the boots on, but otherwise, they were simple to put on and kept feet warm.

Easy for kids to put on and take off. Warm.

Strap is very low so the entire top flap of the boot gapes open down to the ankle and fills with snow, and because of the fur, the snow sticks. Horrible design- definitely not made for any kid who actually plays in the snow!
