Customer Reviews New Balance Fresh Foam Vongo v2

I ordered several New Balance walking shoes to find the one that was most comfortable. I think the Vongo v2 is it! It runs small so I have to return it to get a larger size but it was definitely the most comfortable of all the New Balance walking shoes I tried on. It provided excellent cushioning and arch support. I am looking forward to using these shoes for many trips to come.

This are pretty comfortable. I am a veterinary nurse and I am on my feet a lot. I also have a lot of foot pain. So far these shoes are comfy. I struggle with getting the right shoes. I am currently in New Balance kick right.

The mesh on the shoes seems pretty sturdy. I've had mesh shoes that tear right away and these seem better than that. My brooks ariel's had better support than these but these look better. If you feel that you might need a wide fit shoe, you will definitely need wide on these shoes. The length is pretty true to size

I wear a custom insert so it is difficult to judge. I loved the color and style of this shoe but it didn't work for me. It felt about 1/2 size or more too small compared to the usual size I order to accommodate my inserts. The mesh did not feel supportive enough for my situation but it was a good looking shoe and seemed to have a lot of cushioning - just didn't work for me.

I have a wide, flat foot. These were a little too narrow.

I really, really like these (style, support) except for the fact that they were a little too short and tight for a size 8, my normal sneaker size. Bummer, because I really liked the support big time. And they don't have the 8.5 size available. Sigh.

The sole is cushiony but not overly. I havnt run in them, only walking and standing. I've had burning hurting feet for many years and there is not many shoes I can stand to wear. This is a shoe I can stand to wear. No arch support but if you order wide or extra wide and maybe even 1/2 size up you can put in a orthotic which I plan to do.

Very soft and comfortable shoe! The sizing was accurate, I usually wear a 9.5 W and it was right on. I found that the toe box was short from top to bottom, the top of my toe rubbed against the top of the shoe, which is unusual for me. It is a great and supportive shoe!

I like the way they look but I don't think these are the shoes for me. I don't think I pronate as much as I thought I did

Great looking shoe. The toe box is narrow and feels half size smaller. If you are ordering this shoe order up a size.

This shoe has the potential to be quite comfortable. Unfortunately it runs quite short and narrow.

Longtime New Balance buyer. I prefer a wide toe box with lots of room, but I have a narrow arch. For years I've been devoted to the NB fresh foam 1080 running shoes. But, the color selection for 2018 was awful, so I thought I would try the Vongo V2. I order the women's 9.5 in wide in Blue. The shoes were so cute, but the fit is uncomfortable. The toe box was very tight. These are going back to Zappos.

I usually wear Brookes Addiction sneakers, but because the Addiction 13 did not get good reviews, I thought I would try new balance. I ordered 8 1/2 D; in shoes I wear 8 B-C but I always get my athletic shoes a half size bigger. In these, my toe went right up to the tip of the shoe. Never had an 8 1/2 fit that way in any other athletic shoe. I did remove the inner sole and tried these with my orthotic in place, maybe without the orthotic they would have fit differently. However, if you are between sizes, I would suggest going up to the next size and if you wear orthotics, might consider going up a full size. I can't say whether or not the support was adequate because I did not wear them around the house once I realized they were too tight.

I love the fresh foam style, but these were not as "cushy" as other fresh foam shoes I've ordered and they were not wide whatsoever. Very disappointed because I am in need of a nice pair of shoes. These are not those.

They are kind of "blocky" pretty snug in the toe area almost like I needed to go up a size. Just didn't care for the overall fit.

No support for my feet. My right foot turned in. Returned right away. Thanks Zappos for your easy returns.
