Perfect right out of the box without the normal breaking in period with Dansko. I do find that I have to wear slightly thicker socks, but not sure if that is the shoe or due to weight-loss.

Just too wide in the heel for my feet.

I rely on these for many occasions. They are nice enough looking to use for office wear and comfortable enough to go for walks. I take them traveling, also.

These shoes are great for fall through spring. All the comfort of a favorite shoe with protection from the wet and cooler weather. They are so comfortable and have great support. I like them so much that I ordered another pair, so I will have them for a long time. Hopefully Dansko will continue to make this shoe.

I just received these yesterday so take that into consideration...BUT...so far I LOVE these shoes. They are adorable- looks just like the Danskos that I wore years ago but couldn't stop rolling my ankle in them- the soles on these solve that problem for sure! I wear a standard size 7 and the 37 fits perfectly (there is a pinkie's width at the heel). I have narrower feet- these fit well that way too. I love the color (navy). Hoping they are still feeling this good with time and use- but so far...so good!

Really liked these but they were just a bit wide for my foot. It slipped around in the shoe and when that happens I will end up with really sore arches. Sadly I returned them

Perfect fit from the first wearing. I wore on a two-week trip to Japan, where we were walking 6-9 miles a day and I had no irritation or break-in issues. They felt like my favorite old pair of shoes from the first.

This shoe is very comfortable for me and fits true to size. I like a wide toe box so my toes don't feel squished together, and although this shoe doesn't have a square toe, the toe box is roomy enough for me for comfort. The styling and appearance could be much better though. The "black" color appears more gray than black - I would like it better in a true dark black. I also don't like how prominent the yellow "Vibram" logo is on the side of the shoe. And the nubuck material scuffs easily, more visibly than other nubuck shoes I wear.

Since my feet have changed through the years, I've learned which shoe styles work better for me. These are a good fit for me. The toe box and width work since I have a bunion on one foot. Clog style with slight elevation in the heel plus better arch support is also very good. I would love to see this shoe in leather. The nubuck is great but I have to be careful since our weather can turn rainy on a whim.

Ordered my usual size. Dansko doesn't disappoint. Always comfortable and reliable. Great walking shoe.

I bought the black in size 40, I usually wear a size 9 and I like a little more room in my Danskos or Sanitas. Size 40 is perfect for me, not too roomy, no heel slippage either which I was surprised about. Foot feels quite secure. I’ve been looking for a semi professional black shoes which I can travel in and go to professional conferences which require a lot of time in your feet. This shoe felt like heaven right out of the box. Lightweight, comfortable, shock absorbing, sturdy, stable, good grip, a little cuter than your average clog (which I’ve had in the past but broke recently). I’m in love.

So comfortable! I put them on and wore them all day with no discomfort of having to "break in". The vibram sole is very stable.

Everything about this shoe is great! So comfortable and tons of support for the upper part of my feet.

I ordered this size as size 42 was too large on my foot - particularly the left foot. Anyway these were definitely too small

I really wanted to keep these shoes but the left show was very loose on my foot. The right shoe was perfect. I know my right foot is slightly longer than my left foot, but there was a huge difference in the shoe. This is the first time this has occurred.

I have only worn these shoes inside the house, but they feel very comfortable. Dansko shoes fit my feet well and these are no exception. I bought them to wear on a trip next February when the weather will be unpredictable, so I hope that they are truly waterproof. They look cute!

The shoe was instantly comfortable and they were broken in in two days. I’m on my feet for 10 hours at a busy vet clinic and need no slip shoes to safely walk large dogs. I wish they had some fun patterns, but I’m happy with the navy blue. I prefer these to the Dansko Professional line, those feel like walking in high heels and are slippery.

I have walked many miles in them and they are very comfortable and supportive. The only criticism: someone asked me if I was wearing Crocs. I did not take that as a compliment.

A patient of mine recommended these and I bought them. These ARE AMAZING!!! I am on my feet all day and these shoes are like walking on air!!!!

These are truly the best dansko shoe I've ever worn.

I should have listened to the other reviewers. I usually wear a 7.5, occasionally a 7 or 8 depending on the brand. This was my first Dansko purchase and I wanted to be able to wear socks with these shoes, so I went with my normal 38 (7.5-8) size. There was too much slippage, so I reordered a 37 to compare. The 37s are perfect! The shoes are very comfortable right out of the box and I'll be able to wear them with or without socks.

These shoes are amazingly comfortable. This was my second pair -- i wore the first pair to the ground. highly recommend for comfort

These are the most comfortable shoes I have tried other than my walking shoes in as long as I can remember. I tried them in the store from the display model and wanted to compare with similar styles from Dansko and Ecco that were not carried, so ordered from Zappos. Amazingly comfortable and light weight.
