We wanted to love these boots. Kamik is a solid brand. But the insulated insert had seams that bothered my son's feet, and they caused the boot to be extraordinarily narrow. My son already has a slightly narrow foot, and we ordered a size 4 when he currently wears a 2.5 in his Brooks running shoes and a 2 in his Merrill moccasins. But while he had a tiny bit of growing room in the length (closer to what a size 3 or 3.5 running shoe would be), there was absolutely no margin for width, and they were tight with just his regular, thin cotton socks. We are returning them, super disappointed that they do not at all run anywhere close to true to size.

These boots run small and a medium is just that, BUT the liner which is featured to keep little feet warm just make the boot even narrower and smaller! I am not using the liner and the size 11 boots fit my grandson the same way his size 10 sneakers do. I would recommend ordering up one size. That said, the nursery school recommends this type of boot since the ankle strap keeps snow out and there is an elastic drawstring that also works in the same way. My 4 year old grandson LOVES these boots!

Comfortable and perfect for ski trip!

Kamik snow boots, based on my experience, do run an entire size small. My grandson wears a size 9 in Ugg boots but needed a size 10 in the Kamiks. Other than that, they are very well made, waterproof and warm. Great play outside boots during the colder months here in central Indiana, especially in the snow. Actually, they don't look bad to wear to school, church and other social activities like out to dinner, if need be, too. I bought 5 pairs for my grandchildren ages 9 years down to 3 years, so I highly recommend them.

These are AWESOME boots-bought them for my sons before a ski trip and we got 18+ inches of snow when we arrived. These boots were awesome!

My kids love these, super easy to put on! Both my 2 and 4 year put them on with ease!

I have ordered the same boots for the last three years for my son in increasing sizes every year. These are great! They are waterproof, easy to put on and have a washable liner.

Nice quality boot!

I believe it may have worked if there was a wide option or a half size option. We had to go with a size 7 in a lace-up style-think child's wide foot reason for final purchase.
