The fit run slightly big. I wear a 9.5 and the 9 was perfect! The color is SPLENDID! I think the sole and the detailed cap make this boot look slightly masculine; so if you want dainty-this is not it! This boot is tough, durable, stylish and goes with everything in your closet!

Stylish shoe! The zipper on the side helps with on-off but not if you lace up snugly... which was unexpected. Slightly narrower than other doc martens of the same size (comparing to the Flora Chelsea and Emmeline) The laces are a bit thinner than on other doc marten shoes. One issue: there is a cut in the tongue on both feet to secure the laces through. On one of the shoes, this cut is not straight, but a bit sideways, that does not look symmetrical next to the other foot/shoe. A small issue, but for the price of the shoes, I expect better workmanship!

Well first of all they arrived loose in plain box with no packing slip or information. The pic looks like real leather but these are so shiny I can't tell if it's leather or synthetic. And with no box or information I couldn't tell what they were made of. They have clearly been worn before, though they arrived in good condition . It was just kind of disappointing that there were slight creases in the upper and the insole was already slightly shaped by someone else's foot.

Too stiff and they looked too "plastic-y"

These looked great on line, I loved the oxford styling, but in person the overall quality just wasn't what I imagined. The leather is VERY stiff and a bit too shiny for what I was going for. Almost like a patent leather. Also I personally didn't like the large tab in back with a saying on it, which i didn't notice in the photos, and I prefer a slightly shorter shaft - closer to the ankle. Mine are going back.

I was super excited to find these! I love the wingtip/ brogue style. Unfortunately these are very clunky and don’t look as neat as my other shoes/boots in this category that I wear for work. I ended up returning them.

I bought these in a 6, as it said to size down, but I have a high arch and they were so painful that I had to return. I tried a size 7 and they are much better. They are pretty stiff and will take time to wear in, but I love the style.

Leather is extremely inflexible.

I REALLY wanted to keep these but they were soooooo stiff and uncomfortable. I ordered two pairs but they were both super stiff and would take forever to work in. They fit perfectly ( size 5 and I have a very small foot) so it was heart breaking when I realized how awkward they were. They are vinyl and not leather so I am afraid they will crack as well. Doc Martens aren't what they used to be unfortunately. For the money, I don't want to have to work them in. I will be sending them back.

Ouchie!! The leather on these were ridiculously stiff; I couldn’t bear the though of enduring a break in period. Also, I found the style too masculine. Back they went. Thanks, Zappos!

These boots are SO STIFF and plastic looking. I have NO idea how long it would take me to break them in.
