Purchased these shoes for my son to wear to private school with his uniform. He needed a wide width shoe and these fit the best. We tried Saucony wide width shoes and those were much too narrow in comparison. Looks great and very comfortable for him!

My son, who is very particular about shoes, declared these as comfortable as just wearing socks. He has wide feet and finds many wide shoes uncomfortable.

Runs really small. My son is a 12.5 wide, and I ordered the 13 wide, and he couldn't even get his foot in it. I don't know if it was mislabeled, but it was really strange. The strap seems cheaply made too.

My little guy loves these shoes, he asks to wear them all the time. They look great and I like the fact that the velcro on the top is super strong. We have had other shoes, by another company, and the velcro did not stay put. Have no problem with these. These shoes are perfect for my little guy who needs an extra wide shoe. New Balance is the only brand we will go with for him.

I love these shoes for my son. He was cursed with my wide feet and it's hard finding wide shoes with velcro straps that actually close correctly . These fit amazing and the strap was actually long enough to close all the way!

My son loves these shoes. They have been really comfortable and have kept up through a lot of wear. They stay on even though they are a wide width, which is hard to find on other wide shoes.

My 8 year old son says these shoes are the most comfortable he's had for a long time, and have great traction. He wants to buy them for all of his cousins! His foot is not extra wide but medium width in most brands are a little too snug. these have plenty of room in the forefoot where he needs it but seem a little too wide in the heel. He is happy!

Great shoe! We have had a few pairs of this style now! Great for wide feet!

Needed a black sneaker, without laces which require tying and available in a wide width. These fit the bill! My 5 year old tells me they are comfortable and do not hurt or squeeze his feet. They look great & from what I can tell + what he tells me they fit well too!

I purchased 2 pairs of these shoes. One in a size 1W and the other 11W for my boys. After a month of them wearing them, the front of the shoes started falling apart. They pulled up off the rubber to expose their toes! New Balance is my go to shoe for both of my boys because of quality, sizing, comfort, and style. These shoes were a complete disappointment. Zappos exchanged them for a different style for me for both pairs.

My 6 year old son has always loved New Balance shoes, but this style was way off mark and not up to their usual high standards. The Velcro strap is hard and placed in such a way that it cuts off circulation to the area just below the shin. After a day of wearing them, my son had swollen ankles. Zappos customer service was amazing and helped us find a new pair. However, I wouldn’t recommend buying this shoe as New Balance didn’t design this one very well.

We ordered a 13W as my son was outgrowing his Under Amour size 12.5. He could not even get his foot in them. They were noticeably smaller than the UA 12.5’s.

I was disappointed in these shoes. The velcro strap is not a hook and loop. The strap goes across and velcro, rather than looping. The lack of a loop hinders my son's ability to tighten his shoes.
