The Shelly, in black patent, is the second SAS sandal style I’ve purchased for my problem feet. The first was the Captiva, in caramel, which I love. I have Morton’s neuromas on both feet and wear a 6.5 wide, when I can find it. Otherwise, I have to buy 7 mediums and they always seem too long, but I need the width. It’s important that my toes not be squeezed together in the slightest and both SAS styles’ footbeds allow my feet to lie perfectly flat with no overhang. Additionally, all straps are adjustable and the footbeds are very cushiony with ample arch support. I love the way these sandals look and feel! I can wear them all day and I’m not in agony at day’s end. They are very stylish and I’ve enjoyed the many compliments received when wearing them. I wear each style with shorts, dresses and trousers and they look great. I want to buy other colors of the Shelly and would like to get the black in the Captiva. SAS is a fabulous brand and I will always look at them before any other when I need a high quality, comfortable shoe. I purchased the Scenic closed toe flat last winter and it’s great too. Because of my Morton’s neuromas, though, I had to exchange for the 6.5 WW. It’s so nice that sensible shoes don’t have to be ugly anymore!

It is heaven to find a cute, fashionable sandal with terrific arch support. I’ve been a Birkenstock girl for many years but they have had the same tired styles for as long as I’ve been wearing them. This style and colors are fantastic. They are MORE supportive than my Birks. I was able to wear them right out of the box. I just ordered this style with the back strap too. Thanks SAS!

I absolutely love these shoes. I have plantar fasciitis and these were my savior. The foot bed is so comfortable. I originally thought the toe strap might pinch but these were comfortable right out of the box. The adjustable straps accommodated my high instep. The only thing I would change is the long toe bed. I will order a size down next time. They do stretch so I think a half size down would have eventually stretched to let my foot slide forward enough so there wasn't that extra past the end of my toes. ( I have quite long toes) I paid a lot more that I normally pay for shoes but I have a lot of foot problems and they were worth every penny. I wish SAS would make more styles that are more stylish. I wore these every day all summer and well into the fall when people were raising an eyebrow at my footware. I'm still wearing them indoors. The only thing other that crocs that my feet are happy in. I'll be ordering more.

These are hands-down my absolute favorite show ever! They are extremely comfortable straight out of the box. I have a wide foot and they are wonderful! The best thing about them is that they do not look like orthopedic granny shoes. They are stylish and actually very flattering on the foot. I have them in black gold and silver and may get a new color this year. I know that they are quite expensive, but as an instructor, I am on my feet all day every day and these do the trick. They are worth the investment in the health of my feet.

Love, Love, Love these sandals. Finally found a sandal that fits my fred flintsone wide foot. I'm usually a WW, but the W in these are perfect. I knew as soon as I took them out of the box the width was going to fit. The only other WW shoe that fits wonderfully are the aravons. I know these are expensive, however the wonderful fit makes up for it. They aren't as soft to walk on as the aravons but this works.

These are the most comfortable sandals ever. Right out of the box for several different all day wearings. Really soft and supportive. Love that you can step in, and they are stable and secure on your feet--with adjustable straps to make them just right for you. I have a wide foot and the wide sizes look good with no overhang of any part of the foot. I only wish I could have gotten the orange in my size (sold out?). I tried the larger size, but had to return them, then kept thinking of how great they felt on my feet and went for the brown in my perfect size and width. These will be my go-to sandals for a long time, I hope. Well worth the price. I bought a Walking Cradle brand earlier this year, and while they are comfortable, they are clearly not as good of quality of workmanship as the SAS.

I love these shoes. I usually can't wear anything between my toes, but the soft leather on this style in Coffee works. I am a solid size 8-1/2 but had to order a 9 in these because of where the toe grip is located. My foot is on the narrow side - but with the adjustable straps- these work. Because of planters fascitis, I need supportive shoes. These sandals are great.

I wasn't sure that I could wear sandals with something between my toes. Haven't worn thongs since I was a kid. These sandals surprised me by the thong not bothering me at all! Overall they are wonderful. I buy SAS because I have wide feet and need comfortable shoes. These are that. They fit perfectly, unlike some other shoes labeled W. The best part is that these are fashionable!! Also, I didn't need to "break them in".

I wore Birkenstock sandals forever. Then my feet changed. Now Birkies are not wide enough for me and they make my feet hurt. Thank goodness for the SAS. I have two pairs of these sandals now, one with an ankle strap and this one, without. I ordered my usual size 8 wide and they were too big. I reordered a 7 1/2 wide (thank you Zappos for the quick reorder and free shipping!!!!) They fit perfectly - right out of the box, I wore them a whole day and they were super comfortable. The footbed is now more conforming to my foot and the shoes feel barefoot! I'm waiting for my size to return so I can purchase the yellow Shelly.

I love these shoes, wore them in the poring down rain the first time I wore them and knew I had ruined them but they dried out perfectly! I wear a very odd sized shoe an 11 1/2 wide toe box narrow heel so my fit is difficult at best but t I got an 11 m and they ARE AWESOME!

I have a medium to wide foot. So when the option of wide presents itself I use that option. The shoe was almost to wide, but I am keeping them. Great and comfortable sandal right out of the box. The leather straps so very soft. Very comfortable shoe. I would say that this shoe is made for longer toes, and perhaps I could have gone down 1/2 size, but not chancing it. I am just sorry that the other color options are not in my size.

wow- so comfortable! usually wear a 8-8.5 but went for 7.5 wide. this SAS shoe is extremely wide but fits me well. there is a strap that might hurt a bunion at the big toe if that's a deal breaker for you. looks ok and not too much like grandma. love it.

These are very comfortable for wearing all day. I am on my feet all day at work and they were great!

Pretty shocked at how perfectly these fit, comfortable right out of the box. My feet are a little wide, but not enough for "wide" shoes. The toe loop, that can so often be irritating in shoes - perfectly comfortable. I am completely happy with them. If they weren't so expensive I'd get another pair, but no regrets. I'll just add that I ordered the orange, and it's a little more subdued than in the picture. Still nice, just softer.

I LOVE these - they are very comfortable, and look a little more refined than similar styles of other brands. If you aren't accustomed to thongs, there may be an adjustment period for the toe strap.

I just turned 30 and all of a sudden have all of this crazy foot pain, so I decided to bite the bullet and buy some nice shoes. These are possibly the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn. The footbed has a nice spring to it with moderate arch support. They're casual enough to wear with jeans but nice enough to wear out with a dress. If you are between sizes, I would size up.

I found these shoes to be comfortable and well made. The leather around the toe does not rub or cause blisters. They run true to size & offer good support. I feel they are worth the price due to the overall quality & comfort.

Shies are comfortable right out of the box. I need to have arch support or my feet will hurt and these are perfect.

Great sandals for problem feet. I have neuropathy and cannot wear shoes that put pressure on my toes. Great solution and great look for a sandal!

Strap placement is perfect for my size, 10W, and love the buckle adjustment. Foot bed has excellent arch and heel support. Overall design has slimming effect rather than an "orthopedic" look.

great sandal--beautiful looking perfect fit--but not too comfy for me--too hard in the heel. Hurt my back. Had to return.
