I own two other pairs of APL tennis shoes, in green and coral. I love them! I intended to add a new pair in black, but these do not feel the same at all :(

I love the shoe & color but either I need another size or a wider shoe

I love APL shoes but this particular style didn't wow me the way the others have! Perhaps in another color but these were so so!

Runs short in the toe.

Fits small. Ordered a half size bigger and my toe was at the end. The knit is breathable and the cushioning is nice for a low volume/weight shoe. But overall I felt like it was not quite a serious running shoe and a little too bulky to be an athleisure shoe. Tried to straddle the middle and missed.

petpeeve alert: it’s 2021 how do these shoes come with laces that won’t stay tied. it’s absurd! $200 shoes and I have to double knot the laces like we did in the ‘80. as for support-meh. I weight lift in them but would use them as a running shoe

The size fit true to size but the shoe was not as padded as I was expecting. It felt like there was hardly any padding and no arch support.

Wow. What a surprise and not in a good way. This shoe has the least amount of padding/support of any shoe I’ve worn in the last 15+ years. Are these shoes made for folks that have to use their own orthotics/inserts in them ? I thought they’d be similar to the higher priced Nike, Adidas, and Saucony that line my closet floor (considering the price). Oh well, back they go. The two stars are given because I still like the appearance of the shoe, even though they are not suitable for me to wear.

Pain!! I just put my foot in and it was painful! The stitching on the inside at the base of the tongue digs into the side of your foot. There's no way to adjust it. I'm shocked at this price point and the great reviews. I wanted to love this sneaker, the style is great. Also, the tongue is long and does rub against your ankle, which might be an issue as well, I did read that complaint in the reviews.

This is more of a Zappos review: ordered this shoe and received the Ascend shoe instead. Now the Techloom Pro shoe I ordered is out of stock and I am SOL. Disappointed that I didn’t get what I wanted, angry that I have to drive out of my way to return a pair of shoes that never should have been sent to me in the first place.
