Absolutely love this shoe for my toddler and preschoolers, have bought 3 pairs. My kids have no real problem getting them on- maybe the 2 yr old but that’s with every shoe at that age. By 4 they had no issue independently and that’s with a fine motor delay. Water proof but not too hot. Held up good (not great) to almost daily wear through a 4 month winter. Yes we have little threads coming from the front but no big deal and no structural damage. I ordered these and the Velcro equivalent this yr and like these much, much better.

This it's the only shoe brand that kids should wear. The toolbox is roomier allowing their feet to grow. The toe box is also square not pointy. The toe box is also supple that does not inhibit normal foot movement. The sole is grippy. But you need to buy your one size larger.

My son loves these but unfortunately the quality did not hold up to daily wear as the tabs holding the elastic quickly broke off. Still love SKR shoes and they're the only brand that I can rely on to fit my son's feet comfortably every time.
