Customer Reviews Saucony Breakthru 3

I dont know why people were hating on this shoe! I did order a 1/2 size bigger than normal (9.5 instead of 9) and it fits just fine. I have a normal foot, but extra long toes, so I usually like Saucony's roomy toe box. This isn't super spacious, but I feel comfortable in it. Heel cup is nicely padded, and I think it will provide nice support without digging into my Achilles. Good heel cushion on the bottom, but the forefoot cushion is a little strange. It almost feels like there is a pad right under the ball of my foot and nothing under my toes! I run 3-4 miles most mornings, and I am not sure I am going to keep these shoes because of the way the padding feels distributed.

The Breakthru 3 is cut significantly more narrow across the toe box/forefront of the shoe than the Breakthru 2, which I loved. Disappointed that these will not work for me.

I have worn many different styles of Saucony athletic shoes and they have all been great. I should have paid closer attention to the reviews of this model. They were so tight, I couldn’’t even get them on. They are certainly being returned. I still will purchase Saucony shoes but will be more attentive to the reviews!
