I have been wearing Saucony running shoes for about 6 years. I walk/run 50-60 mi/week. I use trail shoes for my "off-road" but I have been searching for a street running shoe to WOW me. Echelon 5 is the best! I have purchased approximately 30-40 different pairs of saucony, this model is far superior! Great fit. Generous (not sloppy) across the ball of my foot and toe box. Deep enough to allow my custom orthotics to fit well and cup my heels without causing them to slide. Unlike the ISO varieties I have tried (in the same size) they do not rub the tops of my toes. Would like another pair in other colors. Why 4star instead of 5.

I have an earlier version of the Echelon. I ordered the same size and while the footbed is very supportive and cushy, the shoe felt shorter and narrower. Unfortunately, I had to return it because it just didn't fit my foot. In addition, the material of the upper was less flexible, so it wasn't able to compensate for the size difference. It's too bad. I like the Echelon I have a lot!

I normally wear a size 8 W and this 8 W did fit as expected; however, Saucony's toe box felt like it was caving in on my big toe. This is the reason I am returning the pair. The look didn't concern me too much, as I am just looking for comfort with a little cuteness. They look okay on. In terms of support, it seems they would have provided good support.

I do like the shoes they are very comfortable...however I am noticing minor things that are happening after just owning them for about 2 months. the soles of the shoe is starting to come off....and the name Saucony in silver color is starting to peel off...Im a bit surprised by this due to the fact I spent 130.00 for these shoes and they are starting to have issues like this. I'd be very hesitate to buy another pair because of this reason...Sorry.

I have a few pairs of the Echelon 5 but the Echelon 6 is much wider then the 5, too wide for me. The padding around the top and the tongue are not as good/thick as on the 5. It seemed to be an OK shoe but I did not wear it, had to return because it was too wide.

These are comfy and I decided to try something new because of my flat feet.. get wider shoes to create more room and avoid rubbing of the arch area. There was in fact no rubbing, but they didn't feel better than another pair - the Saucony Linchpin that I found. There is too much room in the heel and toes for me, and I find them a little "sloppy" though comfortable - if that makes sense? I figured they would just become sloppier over time and be completely unwearable. When I compare the fact that these are double the price of the Linchpins, I could just replace shoes sooner and I'm going to just do that. I would buy these if they were at least half price of what they are - current list is $130.00 and I think too much (especially since I could only get pink in a wide and well I don't even like pink).

This shoe makes my right sock ride down. No matter which socks I wear. Never happened with Saucony before. Very frustrating!

I initially really liked these sneakers. Unfortunately, after about 1 month the left sneaker got two holes in the lining of the heel. I have not had this issue with any other sneaker in the past. The lining became pilly and due to the holes and pills it aggravates the skin on my heel through my sock.

I usually order a 10.5 wide and did; however when I tried these on they seemed especially big. I returned them and got a 10 M and a 10 W. These 2 pair felt very similar and neither felt like they had much room in the toe area. The 10W also slid up and down off my heel a little.

I'm a regular Saucony buyer. This shoe didn't even feel like the brand. The left shoe seemed mis-manufactured, as if something was left out of the arch area; at any rate I had an under-arch ache after 1 hour wearing, that I've never had with a Saucony. The right shoe didn't have the same oddity. It was an experiment that I tried W width on my usual length, so I was surprised that my feet were so mis-matched to the shoe. It's a good looking style so I'm sorry it didn't work.

I have problem feet and was looking for a shoe with great cushioning. I normally wear an 8 1/2 wide in Saucony. The shoe I ordered was 2 sizes too big and extremely wide. I ordered them in a smaller size and they were still too big. Saucony has changed their sizing. I didn't care for the fake leather.. not comfortable. No toe box cushioning or very little. Not for me!

I have had a problem finding Saucony's lately that are as good as the ones in years past. This shoe is super stiff in the foot and others I've tried have no support at all. But the main thing is that I think the left shoe is sized smaller than the right. (or maybe it's my foot) Either way, I don't like these shoes at all. I keep trying to like them, but run after run, I end up saying I need new shoes.

Not as comfortable as the Echelon 5. Toe box is much wider and felt sloppy, so I will be returning these.

Sorry Sauconey these shoes are horrible. To much plastic in the mid foot. They really hurt my feet. If they had been made like the Freedoms with mostly mesh, would have been more comfortable. I have severe nerve pain in my feet and I'll have to keep looking.

This review should not reflect on Zappos at all , has nothing to do with them. Saucony makes a cheap shoe for a premium price. Sadly this was the only shoe my orthotics sat in correctly so I have been forced to wear them for a year(finally in the process of getting new orthotics that fit more easily in better brands) The echelon 6 fits small, the red dye runs all over white socks , gave me a rash. It is over all just been a crappy shoe. I would advise anyone to advise saucony if at all possible

The product resembled an orthodic shoe. My profile asked for a soft comfortable running shoe. This style shoe had stiff, non-cushioned feel. The only plus was the color.

Confirming other reviewers: not good. I love my Saucony Echelon 5s which fit perfectly in my normal size. The 6 is too small and probably not comfortable even in the adjusted size.

The design of this shoe has changed from the Echelon 5 women's which I wore for years. The top toe area is lower and flatter which now rubs the top of my toes. The bottom of the shoe is now wider which makes it not as attractive. I wore this shoe everyday not for running. I can not wear the 6 and have had to find another everyday shoe. Wish you had not changed the design. The 5 was great!
