I LOVE this shoe. I have foot and leg and hip issues, but with this shoe I can walk for long periods with no pain. It's quite generous in width, which I need. Only two complaints -- I need more colors in my size. My only option is navy blue. And the laces are not long enough. I had to buy longer laces. But these are great shoes and if you have walking issues I suggest you try them.

Got these for hubby to walk/jog in. He doesnt pull a lot of distance and needs both cushion and support.... This are a big HIT! He loves them. 3e width is perfect!

Saucony is an excellent brand sneaker. The width was definitely wide enough for the wide, flat foot wearing it.

This shoe was wide enough for my husband's EEE foot, but it has so much heel elevation to toe ratio that he wasn't comfortable in it. Seems like a high quality running shoe, though.

I have a wide forefoot, and while this shoe was overall comfortable it felt cramped in the forefoot area.

I've worn Saucony running shoes for years. This pair was to replace my worn out pair. Same size, very similar appearance. But the size and fit is remarkably inconsistent between styles. This style runs uncomfortably small. But the toe box is nicely rounded for square feet, and the width and arch support are good.

Wow what a change a from the the Echelon 5 I purchased a few years ago. Its they forgot how to size when they made the new version. What a disappointment. Wish I had purchased a few more of the 5's before it was replaced with this piece of junk. I wear a 9 in a dress shoe and 91/2 in running shoes. This would have taken a 10 1//2 to a 11 to fit my foot which is short and narrow 9.
I did not take to time to order a few extra sizes or go to Dicks to try on a pair since the last Saucony fit so well. Buyer beware of fit before you purchase.

Just purchased pair #2 and 3. Currently alternate between pair #1 and a pair of Brooks Dyad 10s. I spend all day on my feet on concrete - had terrible heel spur pain in both feet - these shoes and the Brooks really helped me out. Went from a 10-11 WIDE in Rockport/Clarks to a 12 REGULAR in these Sauconys.

These are EXCELLENT. A little more than what I wanted to spend for everyday kicks, but Sauconys are worth it. I've had pairs going back nearly 30 years, all different styles and types of sneaker, and I don't think I was disappointed in more than one or two during that time.

I bought these sneakers for my father who has arthritic feet, large uncomfortable bunions but he LOVES to run and can never find sneakers that fit all his needs. He reports they are comfortable for his unique and gnarly feet. Satisfied customers all around.

I am 70 and I walk 4 miles every day. Shoes are very important in the concept of injury or discomfort prevention.
It has a good ,direct, heal impact.

These have been the best road running shoes I have owned. I am currently on my second pair and had similar experiences with both.
There are two minor complaints: 1) they are a little tight across the top of the foot so they need to be laced differently and 2) there is a short break-in period as slight pressure just off center of the ball of the foot can be felt until after a few runs. The shoes are otherwise very comfortable. No shin splints as I had with my last pair of shoes.
They are also durable. My first pair have 546 miles on them (see picture). The inner heel cup on the right shoe tore after getting caught in a heavy rain storm. A small hole in one of the vamps appeared after 312 mi and the heels did not show significant wear until about 480 mi.
I am impressed by how long it took before the shoes began to show wear. Overall, these are a great pair of shoes.

This is the most comfortable trainer that I have ever had. I got the widest size available, and it felt good immediately. The insole is soft enough to feel really great. I have had multiple pairs of other brands over the years and none hold a candle to this shoe. I have never understood why so few shoe manufacturers do not offer wide and extra wide widths.

The echelon is the ONLY shoe I can wear my orthotics in , all the other big brands failed me. The toe box is wide and deep enough to not pinch my feet or rub on top of my toes, heel doesn’t slip. Would love to see this in black and white too
Btw I’m a women who needs a wider width, while the women’s wide did fit I needed a little more room. The men’s EE is perfect

This shoe is my first choice when compared to its competitors. It is the only shoe to offer comfort for a flat wide foot. Thank you for the years of good running!

Husband liked the Echelon 5 better, he wished they didn’t change.
Took a few runs to brake in the sneakers.

Loved my echelon 5 and was excited to upgrade to the 6's. Just noticed the heel treads on both shoes are worn down and shot after only 225 miles, far less than I got out of my 5s.

Fit and size good. Soles came apart within 6 months. I don't run in them, just use them as everyday sneakers.

I bought many pairs of Saucony Echelon 5 because I have major foot problems. I don't know why they 'improved' this shoe to 6, but they should have left it alone because I would have continued buying. I am returning this pair I only wore a few times because EVERYTHING hurt including my legs. I tried Hoka and was so impressed I ordered two more pairs of the exact Hokas.

I bought this same shoe in 2017 & it was a great fit & very comfortable. The pair I just received , which is the same size, feels like a different shoe & is too uncomfortable to wear.

These shoes started coming apart after 5 weeks. The sides ripped, starting at the last grommet for laces, and running down towards the sole. The sole looks like it's 5 years old instead of 5 weeks old. I LOVED my Saucony Echelon 5s but the 6s aren't worth the walk to the trash can. Very disappointed.

great for flat footed orthotic wearers but there is an inner seam that irritates the side of your foot. Saucony always manages to get it wrong. Cheap materials and the dye of the shoe bleeds onto your socks
