Overall these boots are pretty and the leather is soft to the touch. The picture online looks really cool, but I was a bit disappointed with the boot in person because they are not as edgy and rugged. The sole is relatively thin and pliant, and I need heavier shoes because I'm on my feet all day for work. These would be a good dress boot for a less active day, although I'd be worried about hurting their finish.

Super cute look and would very comfortable because of the great support and arches, but the top of the shoe dug into my leg when I walked and sadly had to return. It was just too stiff and not flexible or comfortable on my leg and ankle.

I had to return these because they were too tight. I have two other pairs of Vionics in size 10 which are very roomy. These, however, were so tight I could barely get them on. I may try a size 11. Shame they don't make 10.5.

These boots look great and are well made. Nice leather. Made in China. However, very hard to get on with my high instep, so I will be returning them.

I was hoping these booties would work since my foot doctor wants me wearing Vionic shoes. I found them to be a bit stiff through the toe box and shank, but also thought the material looked a bit cheap. In fact, they reminded me of "Santa" boots. I had to return them.

Vionic shoes are usually wider that others, so they usually fit my medium/wide foot. These were not true to their typical width. I will be sending them back.

Have these in black and love them, however buckle came off. I thought it was just something I did, but then also saw another reviewer had the same issue!

I was disappointed because the in the photos they appear more tan or cognac in color. What I got was a true brown boot, not what I was looking for. However, the boots themselves look well made and felt comfortable.

The buckle broke after just a few weeks. I’m bummed because they were comfortable and cool.

Poor quality. I think these boots are so comfortable, I have had two pairs thinking it was an isolated issue. BOTH pairs had the buckle snap off the boot.

I purchased these black boots and loved them. Having plantar fasciitis, I needed something stylish that would allow me to be on my feet all day. The belt buckle broke not once, but TWICE after ordering a second pair. If VIONIC improved the quality of this boot, I would purchase it again. As usual, Zappos was great with the return.

I buy Vionic because I have Plantar Fasciitis. I was so excited to see ankle boots and had to buy a pair right away. I was shocked when after a few weeks, the buckle just snapped, making the show unwearable. Zappos was great and taking the return and I definitely wanted an exchange because what are the odds that the shoe could bust again? Well, it did! After mine busted twice (both the left shoe) I saw that others have had this problem. I hope Vionic fixes this problem. If they do, I’d order the ankle boots again.

I loved these boots so much that after about a month of wearing them I bought a pair for my mom. Shortly after that, though, the buckle failed on my pair, and within two wears, the buckle on hers failed as well. We were both disappointed to have to return them.

Quality control fail. The left shoe inside was rolled under at the toe of the boot. Had to have let the factory like that.
