Finally! A shoe that fits me with both style and comfort. I did replace the insole with an orthopedic one. This shoe is wide enough for my 11W feet yet cushions my narrow heel admirably. It's a win.

These boots are pretty except that the heel and shaft look and feel too wide -- my ankle slips a lot in them and there's a big gap between the boot and my leg. Also the toe pinches (10WW) but only a little; I think that would have been fine with just a little wearing in. The overall look except for the extra width in back is sleek and classic and the heel would make these just right for walking around in all day. Too bad they don't fit -- have to send them back. It's hard to rate the width in the Zappos drop-down menu rater because you can't choose "front fit great but heel too wide" -- you have to say either the whole boot is too narrow, the whole boot is too wide, or the whole boot is true to width, none of which were true for me. I wish Zappos would address this because I can see from the reviews I'm not the only one who has frequent problems with shoe fitting perfectly in front of foot but heel/ankle too wide.
I'd also recommend:
Johansen, Natural Bridge, Chaco (the W works even tho I take a WW, and the heel doesnt slip!)

I have extra wide feet with bunions and have had plantar fasciitis in the past and need some arch support, so it's almost impossible for me to find shoes that fit well -- not to mention look cute, feel comfortable all day, and are nice quality. These are the holy grail! They are everything I've been looking for in a shoe but haven't been able to find. I chose my usual size which was the correct length for my foot, but felt a little tight through the toebox, even with a thin sock. I chose to keep this size rather than size up and have to wear a thicker sock, and I'm glad I did. The leather quickly broke in after one wear. It's now molded to my foot and very comfortable. I can wear these all day with no pain. The heel is the perfect height for comfortable walking. They have a soft footbed with some arch support, too. I also love the style of these -- it's fresh and modern, and super versatile -- you can wear it with cuffed skinny jeans, a dress, leggings, boyfriend jeans, etc. The shape actually makes my foot look a lot smaller/less wide than most shoes do. Seriously, if you have "problem" feet you are going to love these! I hope SoftWalk makes them in other colors -- would love it in gray and cognac.

Nice looking and comfortable. I got the 71/2 a little bigger than my other shoes in this size. However, 7 would probably be a little short.

Comfortable, stylish, easy to walk in. I will take these to Amsterdam this April for my walk about town shoes, which could go easily from jeans to dressy pants.

I have a pair of Softwalk boots in another style and color, so I was confident these would provide the stylishness, fit, and comfort I was looking for. I'm a pretty consistent 7.5/8 M in most shoes, and I like my shoes to fit closely, but not be tight. I have plantar fasciitis, so I need good arch support and prefer a little cushioning. And even though I'm 60, I don't want to wear old lady shoes. These boots check all the boxes. The only thing I don't like about them is the fit at the very top. My ankles are thin to average sized, and when the boots are zipped all the way up, the front of the boot digs into my lower shin just a bit. My solution so far is to wear them slightly unzipped. A person with thicker ankles might find them unwearable. I'd advise designers to find a way to pad or soften that top edge, or to give it a dip right in the front so it won't cut into the leg. I can't comment on durability yet, but they seem to be high-quality shoes that I will enjoy for a long time.

Lover the look of this shoe and wanted it to fit! It was way too wide all over and esp in the heel area. I could take my narrow foot out without unzipping it.

Nice boot for the price, but was way too wide for my foot. I'm an 11N and it fit like an 11M. Even socks didn't help.

After a week, the heels were unacceptably scuffed for a shoe this expensive (see photo) Then, after only using these for three months, the heel came loose from the little post holding it on. Since I did not notice until I took a step, I bent the little post, and the heel cannot be put back together. Totally unacceptable at this price. Cheaply poorly made. Don't waste your money!
