I would not recommend this flip-flop for those of us with a wide foot.

I bought these for a tropical vacation as I have to have rocker bottoms now due to arthritis. After reading reviews of loose straps I went down a size from what I usually buy Hoka shoes in. Granted I have toe room in my shoes, partly because of a wide fore foot. It worked out really well, my heal was at the back of the shoe, just on the line of too small, but the strap didn't feel loose. I wore them every day for just over 3 weeks and they did pretty well, although the foot bed shows more wear than I would like.
For the price I really would like to see more. The straps are like $12 generic flip flops. I have a pair of Reef's that cost about the same that have much better more substantial straps and are the most comfortable pair of flip flops I've ever worn. I also have a pair of Sole flip flops with nice looking straps and cork bottoms that are the best looking I've ever had, however they are more expensive.
If these could take the strap and more durable higher traction top from Reef I would love these and even pay more for them. As they are I would only recommend them if you need to have a rocker bottom.

I love Hoka shoes, the sandals on the other hand feel good on my feet except the strap runs way way too large, my feet are flopping all over the place! Hopefully they will make some changes to these new flip flops. I will wait till next year and see if they did and buy 2 pairs.

Like the look of them. The strap is not comfortable but maybe they need to be broken in better. I am still 50/50 on these. Just like the sneakers they take some getting used to

Like I stated the Ora flipflops were the most comfortable and cushioned I have ever worn. My issue was there stability, I started to have knee pain and shin splints from wearing them, not like lace up shoes that I wear (Bondi LTR), so this said I was not able to adapt to there lack of stability.

Mine arrived with white soles but a black strap. A white strap was pictured so it was not what I was expecting

Durability is a big issue. For the price strap or joint breaks very easily.
For a highly priced product durability is poor

I wore these for 30 minutes walking around the house and the severely cut my toes. 3 weeks later i still have the scars. they appear to be well made and i loved the look, but i wont be able to wear them. Being diabetic i cant have injury's to my feet.

I bought these and really liked them, shortly after where the thong connects to the sole broke, this was after a handful of uses. I recalled the 1 year warranty and submitted. The process was easy and they sent out a new pair. The same thing happend about a month later. Not worth the effort to try another pair as it puts a damper being out and losing one of your shoes.

I've had the sandals for less than six months and truly enjoy how comfortable they feel, especially for my flat feetthe cushioning in the footbed has been excellent. However, I've noticed that the upper thermoplastic polyurethane material and fabric mesh have torn quite easily. The right strap has completely detached, even though I've only used the sandals for light, daily wear around the house.
They're incredibly comfortable and supportive, but be cautious the strap durability might not hold up over time.
I really appreciate the comfort and design of the Ora Recovery Flip, but unfortunately, the materials did not hold up as expected.

The men's version of this flip has a very hard/ stiff material that fits between the big toe. Husband wore the flip for just a few hours and caused a physical injury (red irritated skin). Took several days to recover from wearing these recovery flips. The women's version is made properly with normal soft material that most other flips have. Hopefully if Hoka maintains producing these flips, they will consider changing the material

The toe stem bothered me from the very start. It's too thin and harsh against the skin. And the side straps are too loose for me. But the base was perfect as I expected. I purchased Oofos and wish I could have their flip tops with Hoka soles.

Usually I have great satisfaction w Hoka products-I have purchased easily 10+ pairs of their shoes with no problems. However these flip flops are rubbing a blister on top of each foot where you put top strap between toes.

Great sole. Unfortunately the thong piece sawed through the area between my big toe and index toe. Until this heals I can’t wear any flip flops at all. I assumed they would have fixed this issue by now. Disappointing product from hoka

These sandals look cool, but are not very soft and are made for fat feet. If you're looking for a legitimate recovery sandal, this ain't it.
