After reading reviews about how much better these were than Oofos, we decided to give them a try. Although we used the sizing chart, my wife's were too big, though mine were just right. The thing we both experienced was the discomfort of the thong strap. Although it's mostly a neoprene material, the edges appear to have been "sealed" and that made them very sharp and uncomfortable. The area between the toes became very irritated within minutes of wearing them. They are also much firmer than Oofos, so they lack that spongy pillow feeling that makes Oofos so nice.
I'm sure the slide version of the Hoka works better, but I definitely would not recommend the flip.

Great sole so comfy. Sole is exactly like the bondi so for this price, this flip flop would be a great deal. Unfortunately the thong is a little too loose so it would slip off my foot when I walk too fast.

Size ordered fit almost perfectly, however, fit itself has shortcomings. First, its too loose for a real comfortable fit, and suspect would get looser as worn over time. Feels cheaply made, almost a plastic feel, after I first put them on, first noticed the plastic feel, then the lack of snugness for a flip. Walked with them and almost immediately felt that then flips were not made for comfort. I wear Hoka runners, most comfortable shoes for walking and running I have ever owned. But the Flips need to come a long way to compare with the Hoka shoes. Returned them really unsatisfied, thought they would be comparable all the way around with the shoes. Sadly mistaken.

This flip was at least one size too big in length and appeared to be for a much higher volume foot making it fit extremely loose and floppy.

Well It was way to big for my foot. Too wide and too long. This cosidering Hoka running shoes are on the narrow side. I wear a 10 to 10.5 in shoes. These were a 10 and my foot flopped arround in them. The arch support was exceelant. Would consider this if your feet were wide and full.

I have bought 6 pairs of Hoka shoes and sandals. The sandals are very comfortable, but after about a year of occasional and light use, the straps pulled out of the sole on two different pairs. Very disappointing because the warranty is for one year only.

I love the feel of these sandals...soft, comfortable, exactly what I would expect from Hoka. But the toe strap in between the toes is one of the most uncomfortable I've ever felt. I'm hoping my feet get used to that and it won't be a big issue over the long term, but it is not comfortable right now. Weird...it's like no one ever tested whether the toe straps were ok or not. Why build such a comfortable sandal and not make absolutely sure something as simple as the toe strap is good?

I love Hoka and have several pairs of shoes and recently ventured into the sandals line. They're so incredibly close. The straps on the flip flops just don't fit well and made me feel like they could slip off. My shins hurt after wearing them from my feet having to constantly adjust to keep the flip flops on. I thought I had the wrong size but after a second attempt, I had the same experience. Non-flip flop sliders are great. I have those and wear them around the house.

Wanted to love it. The arch support was too rigid and hard.

I would not recommend this flip-flop for those of us with a wide foot.

I bought these for a tropical vacation as I have to have rocker bottoms now due to arthritis. After reading reviews of loose straps I went down a size from what I usually buy Hoka shoes in. Granted I have toe room in my shoes, partly because of a wide fore foot. It worked out really well, my heal was at the back of the shoe, just on the line of too small, but the strap didn't feel loose. I wore them every day for just over 3 weeks and they did pretty well, although the foot bed shows more wear than I would like.
For the price I really would like to see more. The straps are like $12 generic flip flops. I have a pair of Reef's that cost about the same that have much better more substantial straps and are the most comfortable pair of flip flops I've ever worn. I also have a pair of Sole flip flops with nice looking straps and cork bottoms that are the best looking I've ever had, however they are more expensive.
If these could take the strap and more durable higher traction top from Reef I would love these and even pay more for them. As they are I would only recommend them if you need to have a rocker bottom.

I love Hoka shoes, the sandals on the other hand feel good on my feet except the strap runs way way too large, my feet are flopping all over the place! Hopefully they will make some changes to these new flip flops. I will wait till next year and see if they did and buy 2 pairs.

Like the look of them. The strap is not comfortable but maybe they need to be broken in better. I am still 50/50 on these. Just like the sneakers they take some getting used to

Like I stated the Ora flipflops were the most comfortable and cushioned I have ever worn. My issue was there stability, I started to have knee pain and shin splints from wearing them, not like lace up shoes that I wear (Bondi LTR), so this said I was not able to adapt to there lack of stability.

I bought these and really liked them, shortly after where the thong connects to the sole broke, this was after a handful of uses. I recalled the 1 year warranty and submitted. The process was easy and they sent out a new pair. The same thing happend about a month later. Not worth the effort to try another pair as it puts a damper being out and losing one of your shoes.
