Outstanding shoe! Has tons of cushioning but somehow it is quite responsive. No complaints so far...and it fits true to size.

This is the best running shoe I've ever had in over 20 years running. The cushion is perfect, the fit is perfect, the weight perfect. Please don't change a thing. All the right balance. Love this shoe. Only con is they do wear out quite fast.

I am wearing these for refereeing youth basketball. The shoes are comfortable for spending all day on my feet moving up and down the basketball court. Considering another pair for everyday wear.

Great comfort and stability! I use these for every outdoor activity. Size is true. The best athletic shoe I have ever purchased. (And I have purchased all brands)

Comfort and stability. Those two words define these shoes. I have several pair of Hoka's and was thrilled that they came out with a white pair.

I have had two pairs of the Clifton 3 (C3), the Clifton 4's (C4) feel just as good. I heard complaints of warm spots, different run patterns, etc. with the C4s, I have not experienced that. These are just as comfy as the Clifton 3's. Only complaint: I liked the blue/red/orange coloring of the C3. I feel that these are light-weight but it adds a lot of comfort. I don't like the color options with the C4, so I just ended up getting the pumpkin orange. It matches the fall season, right? ;-)

I struggle with Achilles Tendonitis and was looking for some relief when running (approx 30 miles/week). These shoes are so soft and cushy, I feel like I'm wearing slippers! I definitely plan to continue with them on some, but not all of my runs. They seem to "work" my foot a bit more than a stiffer shoe, but all in all, love the shoe!

I'm not generally one to write reviews - but I am so happy with my new Clifton 4's that I want to share. SOOO comfortable! From the first outing - felt like I'd been wearing them for weeks. I feel like giving away all my other shoes. This might be the best shoe I've ever owned. Thank you.

A somewhat new runner here. I have been in different shoes throughout this year and have never been this comfortable on any run. I broke them in with a short 1.5 mile and then ran a 13.1 two days later. Best investment on gear I've ever made. I wish I would have listened to my running friends a lot sooner.

I'm 48, about 5'10" and 190 lbs and usually do about a 7:30 mile. As far as shoes, I choose them based on comfort and I like the to fit fairly snug around my entire foot with a good pair of cushy running socks. I'm a size 9.5 in street shoes (usually Sketchers) and am a 9.5 in the Hokas as well. Every spring I head to the store and try on about 10 different shoes, choosing the most comfortable one. Two years ago I saw the Hokas on a specialty running store shelf and after getting over the marshmallow-like heel, I tried on a pair. I walked out of the store with my first pair and never looked back. Also, I have had a sore achilles for a while, even after doing the exercises recommended by my physical therapist. Those helped, but running in the Hoka's the pain went away almost completely. Now my son runs high school cross-country with them and has had great luck with them as well. For a runner like myself, I can't recommend them highly enough!

It took about two 5ks to get use to these shoes, know I'm in love. I was torn between Brooks Glycern and Hoka Clifton 4s.... I made the right choice. I liked them so much I just shelved my Brooks Launch 4s for the super responsive Hoka Clayton 2 Konas.

I would highly recommend these shoes for long-distance runners for use on road or treadmill. I used these to train for and run my first marathon in early 2017, and have continued training with them for my next one. So far I've probably run maybe 200 miles primarily on road, but also occasionally on treadmill and indoor track. They've held up very well with minimal wear and tear and I expect they'll still be good to run my next marathon in early 2018. The sole shows less wear than other shoes I've used by Nike, Reebok, Under Armor (can't remember the model). The traction is good even on rainy days. The only con I've experienced is that because the upper has very little elasticity, it can take a little trial and error to get the laces tied just right for good comfort, and if they're too tight my feet will go numb after 2 or so miles.

I walk 7 miles every day. My normal replacement schedule for Hoka One One Clifton 4 shoes is that I will walk a MAX of 350 miles - then replace. Based upon my past experience with Hoka shoes I can tell you that my Hoka's will be good from mile 1 to mile 350.

I run in the Clifton's and really like the changes to the 4. While I liked the Clifton 3, the changes in the 4 I like the best are 1) much better Upper, 2) better toe box, 3) firmer and more responsive and I thought the 3 was a little too soft, 4) responsiveness makes them feel faster and clean new look. Keep up the great changes to further refining a great show. I run 2 to 4 marathons a year and run 35-55 miles a week. I am 57 years old. I use the Clifton 4 for speed work, intervals and racing. I use the Bondi 5 for my daily training and long runs.

I really like the changes to the Bondi 5, specifically 1) the wider and redesigned base, 2) much better Upper, 3) firmer feel and not quite as soft as the 4 making it much more responsive and 4) the new look and design is a really sharp. The new base is much more responsive and feels faster. I run 2 to 4 marathons a year and usually around 35-55 miles per week. I am 57 Years old. I use the Bondi 5 for a daily high mileage training shoe. It's cushion allows me to run more miles without injury. I then use the Clifton 4 for my speed work and racing. Great job Hoka with the redesigned Bondi 5.

As a long-time Hoka fan, I was pleased to try out my new pair of Clifton 4s and was not disappointed. They continue to provide a light and comfortable running shoe that is great for the long-distance training and race distances.

I work 12 hour shifts at a busy city hospital in the ER. There aren't many times where I'm not in my feet for nearly the entire 12 hours. It's like walking on a cloud! A friend turned me on to Hoka's last year and I'm on my 5th pair. Love them!!!
