Because of a few reviews, I thought I would try a different Hoka running shoe, but that was my error. So, Clifton 4s again, and I could not be more pleased. Same fit and comfort of my 3s and 2s, same good fit, and same support to two reconstructed knees. After some treadmill miles just to be sure, I took these to the road and found them to be just almost perfect... the shoelaces could be a bit longer, about an inch would do it. But why haggle over such a good shoe.

I use these shoes almost exclusively to play Pickleball in. They are extremely cushioning, great support, very comfortable. I have trouble with my feet and have tried several expensive brands( $130.00+) to no avail. I had never heard of Hoka's and the running store I was directed to told me they were a very up and coming company because of the comfort of their shoes. Absolutely true! They are the most comfortable running/tennis/exercise shoe I have ever owned.

I purchased these shoes on the recommendation of my podiatrist; I have a torn ligament in my foot, and he recommended these to help minimize the pain. These shoes do exactly that; they make walking comfortable and relatively pain-free.

I'm new to the Clifton line up but I have both the new Hoka Napali (a replica of the Clifton 3) and the Clifton 4. Despite all the veteran Clifton runners comments about the 4, I think it is just more comfortable and supportive than the Napali/Clifton 3. The Napali feels more cushiony and lighter but not much more. Overall you can't go wrong with either shoe.

My 1st pair of Hoka's and I'm very impressed. I'm an avid runner and recently been suffering from plantar fasciitis, the cushioning in this shoe has completely eliminated my pain when I run and I've put about 650 miles on these running shoes in the past 6 months. Highly recommend, will be buying another pair soon to replace my worn out ones.

After being a NB for years, I decided on a change. I am hooked. I run normally 2 to 3 miles every day. These are fantastic! No back or knee pain. I feel like running another 2 miles.

I have had foot problems my entire life and finding size 15 shoes is always hard. So far, my Hokas have been very comfortable and are amazingly light weight.

I have a somewhat narrow foot and this model feels perfect. My favorite Hoka so far. They don't seem to be causing my feet to roll to the outside. - seem to be holding up well. I have two pair of these and 6 or so other pairs from the past that are now gathering dust or used as mud shoes.

I have run in the Odyssey, Vanquish2 and now the Clifton4-they are the firmest so far but felt good out of the box on a 7 mile easy run today-they don't have as much of the 'marshmallow' feel but my feet felt more 'upright'-they were a half size bigger than the V2 but feel the same(?)-I don't have multiple pairs to run in as I can't justify that until I do more than 1-2 runs per week-I also go cycling-I ran in the V2 for 2 years

Been running in Hokas a while, all version of Cliftons. These, C4, have lasted longer than any of the other version before. I was only getting about 250-300 miles out of the previous Clifton versions and I only wear them for running. The 4's I have now are already at 350 and not ready to retire them yet. May get another 50-60 miles out of them. So big improvement on longevity, also heel crash pad and forefoot crash pad have better traction on wet surfaces. Another improvement. I always thought the Cliftons were just a little too soft, so I put Superfeet inserts into stiffen them up a little. Just my preference. I'll buy them again. I also thought the upper was a big improvement over previous versions.
