4th pair of Cliftons

Great feel..the strike is just soft enough..not pillow like ..anther pair would be nice addition

I have slowed down now that I am older, I don't run 5 miles a day. Might be my age 67, I am now walking the dog more and jogging around the track at the local University campus. One thing I can say is my knees don't hurt when I wear Hokas, I like the support or cushioning the Hokas have. These are excellent for my older body. Especially walking and running on concrete/asphalt. For some reason, I keep trying to wear Nikes (style mostly) but I get knee pain. Hoka are the only shoes that work for me. When they wear out I just buy another pair. Delivery is great, I wear a 12 in street shoes and a 12.5 in running shoes. Hoka makes a 12.5 that fits me perfectly. All I can say is Hoka makes a great product and they keep making a great product over an over again. I am a repeat customer and hopefully will be one for the next 20 years (wishful thinking).

Comfort and support

Wear them for all types of uses.

Love this shoe I do everything from track sprint workouts to Marathons in these. I even run barefoot during triathlons. Super comfortable and never any hot spots

This review is for the wide C4. For those of you that ran in the original Conquest and loved it this shoe is pretty darn close to it! Its not the smooshy marshmallow Clifton of the past. I always felt like I wasn't getting much energy return out of all the previous Clifton's and never could get completely on board with those shoes. The fit is much better too - way back when HOO offered their shoes in half sizes up to 13.5 BOOM! So, now the question will be: how bad will HOO change this shoe with the next gen? I hope not at all, b/c HOKA is finally working for this boy again :)

Fantastic shoes to run in. Went from cross country shoes with absolutely no cushion to these. Really dampens the impact on your body. Highly recommend them.

I am not a runner, never have been. But I walk a lot. These are my go to work shoes. I work in a medical setting where I walk and am on my feet all day on hard tiled surfaces. The Clifton 4 is the best shoe I have found to take the continued stress my feet are under. Wonderfully cushioned to absorb the shock with great arch support. I have heard from friends who are runners that the soles tend to wear down under street conditions. Also they runn about 1/2 size too small. I normally wear a 12 and these I wear 12.5. For what I use them for they are fantastic!
