I love these sandals. I can wear them everywhere and they don't hurt. I wore them to an amusement park last summer all day, and never had any pain. I haven't tried wearing them on a dirt trail yet. I got them due to a foot problem and didn't want anything rubbing on the edge, however, I'm not allowed to wear them at work.

I wear an 8.5 sneaker. I ordered the 9, way too big. Returned and ordered the 8. My heel was on the. I ended going with another high end supportive brand an was able to get an 8 that fit properly.

Let me start with
I've probably had 10+ pairs of Hoka's. They were the only shoe I wore after 4 back surgeries. I could put them on and wear them all day.
But the fan I once was has changed.
First, sizing is crazy inconsistent. 7 is too short. 8 is floppy, sloppy. The fabric straps are tighter on one side.
Second the toe strap has changed angles slightly. The strap between my toes gave me a cut/sore within 1 hour. It's like a sawing motion. I have NEVER had any blister or pain or discomfort w Hoka before this.
This will be my last pair of Hoka flips.

Here's my struggle with these and the Slides: after all my workouts resulting in numerous feet issues, I will only wear Hoka "sandals" in the summer to walk around in....so I have A LOT. Now the ones from a few years ago, my size 8 in both were clearly too small. I mean, my toes and heels were hanging off. So that was easy to go to a 9, which appeared to fit without issues. However, things must've changed because the 9s are too big on me now. My feet slide around and they don't adhere very well. So I ordered the 8 in the Flip and Slide and they FIT...what do I mean, they "fit" exactly? My toes and heels literally come just to the edges now and don't hang over. Now is that a good fit? I don't know. But the 9s were too "sliding around" for me. So I think I'm going to go with the 8s only because they don't slide around. And I hate walking around the city or Disney for miles with flips & slides where I'm constantly aware I need to "hug" the shoe with my toes in order for them to not slide off.
Hoka- please make Flips & Slides in 1/2 sizes already!!!!

Hoka Ora Recovery is a must have if you have problem feet. I own 3. I use this one for outside the house - the mauve color looks nice. I use the adjustable recovery slide as house slippers as it can adjust to socks, however those slides aren't as attractive as the Flip.

The short nylon strap in between the toes was a bit too too wide. When I walked my toes slid up and down the strap and immediately felt irritated. I think it would only get worse with time. The strap that went across the foot was too loose. My foot did not feel stable in this Recovery Flip.

I wanted to love these flip flops like I love the sneakers but I can't. They are way too wide and my feet are flip flopping in them. I have to return or exchange. I with they made these for skinny feet .

I was suffering with serious heel pain due plater fasciitis. It becomes so worse to the point I was not able to take few steps without heel protection , arch support in my shoes.
My friends suggested to try these as it helped them.
And magically I got instant relief from day one.
Pros:
1. Excellent arch support
2. Decent heel cushion
3. Balanced dip in the front which adds to comfort in stepping.
4. The overall construction of the footwear gives balance support from the toast to the heel while walking.
Cons:
I don't see any cons at this time but this one issue. Once you get used to these, you can not wear any other footwear, they are not comfortable.

These are incredibly comfortable flip flops with more support than offos. I hate the look of them, but I can walk for miles on the beach or a trail in them in comfort and your feet don't slide off the sides like they can in offos. Wish they weren't so ugly but 5 star for comfort.

I love my Hoka tennis shoes have a few pairs so I thought I would try these! These do not represent Hoka for comfort well! I thought maybe just me and tried to give away to my daughter and also my daughter n law and they couldn't wear them either. I was so disappointed!

I did have this flip flop from a few years ago...and wore it out! My mom ordered new ones for me and I feel like they are so tight. They do not come in a wide width...so I'm confused ..they fit me before. I'm sad..I loved my other pair. Are the men's size a wider width? I am not sure what can be done....

I absolutely love HOKA shoes, and could not wait to get these - I bought them specifically for our trip to Hawaii. Unfortunately, they are so loose, I cannot walk in them without having to curl my toes up with each step (this causes cramps in my feet), or they slip right off. I'm really bummed, because when standing in them, they are SO comfortable. I wish there was a way I could tighten the straps.

I love the soles of the sandals they are great for my feet. But this new strap between my toes rubs against it and makes me bleed. The ones I got a year ago were way more comfortable. I'm sad they changed this :(

While the base is comfortable the thong part of the shoe really hurts against the skin. It's more rigid and less like fabric so it makes walking long distances very uncomfortable. Would go with another brand for comfortable sandals.
