The straps are too loose, the toe is too long other than that the back of the sandals fit. I have averaged to narrow feet.

The size (W9) is appropriate lengthwise but the straps leave a gap of almost a half inch at the top of my foot. They’re really loose, like someone stretched them. Won’t work for walking as they don’t fit.

Per my podiatrist these flips have the support that I need post 48 years of running. If they bend in the middle, I'm not allowed to wear them . Love the available colors & my go to flip.

Great support and cushioned feel. Straps are too lose. I wear a size 9 in Bondi 8 and Clifton 9. I wish I could have purchased an 8 1/2 in the Recovery Flip. May try an 8, but afraid it might be too small. I will not buy another 9 in this shoe.

I loved the soles of these, they were like walking on clouds, but unfortunately I'm returning them because the straps are SHARP!

I did not like the toe post strap material. I found it to be uncomfortable. I see on Hoka's website that they have changed and updated this to make it more comfortable.

A little floppy. I have a narrow foot and bought a pair of OOFOS sandals at the same time. I will keep both as they are both comfortable. But, that said, if someone has a wide foot or a fat foot, these will be great. For a narrow foot, I'd go with OOFOS. I just wear them around the house on my tile floor and it's fine. I have to exercise my toes to hold them on though, not with the OOFOS. But HOKU's are super comfy as well.

I live in flip flops weather permitting. These are loose in the thong area and give me the worst blisters I can't even wear them. For the price I would not buy

I am returning this flip flop although i really wanted to like it... The footbed is perfect however the top piece with the thong is much too big and is so loose my foot slides around when wearing. Please improve the flip flop!!!

I am a 72 year old restaurant owner/full time worker and have worn these everyday for 2 years! Hands down they are the best -I NEVER have foot, back or leg pain after wearing these 14 hours a day! My only complaint is Hoka needs more color selection! Buy these you'll never be disappointed!

I have several different pairs of Hoka shoes, and I absolutely love them. The support is amazing and they massively improved my plantar fasciitis. However, the Flip missed the mark for me. I wear a 7.5D in Hoka sneakers and 7 in the Recovery Slides. A Hoka Fit Expert said all Hoka sandals have the same size footbed, so I’d be a 7 in the Flip. When I got the Flip, the footbed was indeed the perfect size. Unfortunately, the toe post is set so far back that my heels were hanging off the backs of the shoes and there was too much empty space in front of my toes. I exchanged them for a size 8, but while my heels were no longer hanging off the back, the strap was now too loose and there was still empty space in front of my toes. I spent a few hours walking around inside my house with them, but after the second time I nearly tripped I knew I had to return them. I was hoping the Flips in the men’s sizes would work better, but unfortunately the smallest size available for a men’s Flip is a 7 (I am a 5 in men’s shoes). Bummed as I really wanted a cute pair of supportive flip flops for this summer, but it looks like these just won’t work for me.

The support and feel of these Hoka Ora Recovery Flips are not the same as the ones I purchased 5 years ago. It was very disappointing because even my old pair, are more comfortable then this new one.

I like these recovery flips, which we call slippers or slippahs in Hawaii. I own a red pair which I can walk miles in at a time without any issues. I am prone to plantar fasciitis, and these have been really excellent in addition to my Hoka shoes.
I'd also recommend:
Hoka bondi 8

I'm a 7.5D in Hoka's sneakers and a 7 in their Slides. I purchased the Flip Flops in a 7 as well, but the toe post is set so far back that my heels hang over the back of the sandals and leaves empty space in front of my toes, which makes walking awkward. I exchanged them for a size 8, but the new pair also had the same issue with the toe post. My heels were no longer hanging off of the back of the footbed, there was still too much empty space left in front of my toes. I will unfortunately be returning.

The Recovery Flip is ok except for the straps which IMO are way too loose, so it's hard to give it a higher star rating. I returned them.

The straps are so big, I had an gap of at least 2-3 cm between my foot and the straps. I was expecting the foot bed to have that nice cushy feel that my Hoka tennis shoes have but they do not. Not comfortable at all. I will be returning them.
