I love my hoka shoes, but these flip flops have a scratchy strap and hurt the top of my feet.

These flip flops are enormous and the top fabric is NOT comfortable at all.

The way the shoes are designed they pull across your toes/foot and rub blisters with every step.

The bottom of this shoe felt great but the placement of the toe strap was horrible. There was so much extra room at the top of the shoe because the strap stopped my foot from going forward and my heels were falling off the edge on the back. I ordered my normal size in Hoka shoes which is actually a bit big for me. Not to mention the material of the strap that sits between the toes was incredibly uncomfortable and scratchy. I tried them on and immediately put them back in the bag and returned them.

I have high arches and thought these would be great.
The flip flop pushed my foot to the inside and my toe was going over the side edge. The toe strap was also too long. When I took a step the foot pad would drop and I would have a big gap between my toes and the pad of my foot. Causing many tripping hazards.

Mailed them back today. I have cuts on both feet from the sharp leather edges on the toe separators .... not a good design.

I have tarsal tunnel in my right foot and leg these shoes made my foot hurt more. Maybe it was because it is not offered in a wide and I do have a wider foot.

I'm the HOKA poster child & have a ton of foot issues - was so hopeful when I saw these online. Unfortunately I'm a 57 yr old woman with slightly narrow to normal width feet. I could've put another foot on top of my foot inside this gorgeous lightweight flip flop. Maybe it's unisex? Loved it but it's too wide & going back! Thanks HOKA & ZAPPOS for helping all of us with wonky feet:)

The toe thong is off centered so it doesn't sit right on foot. Makes it very uncomfortable and looks awkward. Very disappointed. Return process has been hassle so just eating the costs.

Had high hopes for this sandal since I love my other Hoka's, but it was awful. The upper part of the sandal felt like a thin piece of metal on top of my foot, especially the toe piece, not at all comfortable, can't imagine walking in for very long. Plus, there was a good 1/4" gap between the top part of the sandal and my foot, so my foot was sloshing around, it felt very unstable. And, I have a wide foot with an extremely high instep. Perhaps if you have a fairly thick foot it would work, but the top part of the sandal, yikes!

I'm an 8.5-9 depending on the style of shoe. I usually start with a 9 and adjust from there. Unfortunately, when the 9 turned out to be too big, that's when I was made aware that these shoes aren't made in half sizes. I tried an 8 just to see what would happen, but they are way too small. I think it's an oversight to go by full shoe sizes along.

Hoka let us down when they made the Hoka One. I have three pairs of the original Hoka flip sandal and would love anther one or two but they are no where to be found. The Hoka One has an odd design to the piece that goes between the toes; for me it has rubbed a callus where the piece touches my toes (this was from a pair I bought earlier this year). Thought I'd try another pair but, nope, they don't work either. Too bad because the support and cushioning are perfect.

Based on the description, I was expecting it to be very comfortable. It did not hug my foot and the rubber is somewhat hard. I returned it.

The shoe came with a piece of twill sewed on to go between toes instead of the same material stitched together. The bottom was made out of harder plastic, rather than the expected Hoka one one bottom. They changed manufacturing from China, to Vietnam. I don't know if that made the difference but I am very disappointed. I had to return. I will be looking for a new option for my recovery shoes.

These shows are not stable or comfortable. Not worth the money in my opinion, I was disappointed in these as I have loved Hoka tennis shoes

returns are very difficult due to your inferior website.
I had to return both pair of Hoka One One Recovery fkip flops. I wear a size 7.
I purchased a size 7 and it fit like a size 6 - too small.
I returned the pair after a lot of difficulty printing return forms
And I ordered the next size up (8). It fit like a size 6 also - too small.
Returned that pair with same difficulty printing return forms.
I give up.

super stiff, too large to hold foot in place, very hard plastic-like material. I was expecting much more from HOKA. very disappointed.

I have loved the recovery flip for years. They help my problem feet. This new style, however, is really not good for those of us with narrow feet. The strap is in a new place, and the flips feel HUGE. I wish you would offer the old design again. Maybe have the two styles.

1) This is not true to size. I have always worn size 10 both in open and closed toe shoes. I did not expect this open toe sandal to be shorter than my feet. Yes, obviously shorter than my feet.
2) The material between the toes is rough and rubs the toes.
3) Hoka One One does not issue QR code for returned items, therefore I had to pay about $5 to print my return slip since I do not have a printer. Technically, it is not a free return.

I loved the old recovery flips. The new style is HUGELY wide! I would never walk up and down stairs in these things, as I might kill myself. The top strap fits the foot entirely differently than the old model. If you loved the old ones, pass on these.
