I really wanted to love this flip flop. I ordered both the Hoka and the original OOfos to compare the two. The original OOfos is too wide, the Hoka width is just right except for one MAJOR flaw. The positioning of the toe attachment is too low, so your foot hangs off the back, and your toes have extra room in the front of the footbed. It's such a shame because they're made well, feel great on the footbed and look sporty. Who wants to pay $50 for a flip flop that doesn't fit properly? Even if I ordered a bigger size, the sandal would be too large. I hope they correct this flaw, so I can try ordering again next year. For now, I'm trying the OOfos OOhlala.

This was a well-made product and the heel was nicely cushioned. However, the strap between the toe was too stiff and rigid. I ended up buying a product from another company that has a canvas strap making the sandal more suitable for me. I own a pair of Hoka slides and these are extremely comfortable. I hope Hoka will think about making a stylish and comfortable summer sandal.

I live in Canada and couldn't buy the recovery flip flops in our country so I purchased them from the US site and had them delivered to a friends house in the US. I just got to my friends house and was dismayed to find that they don't fit right. I have many flip flops and haven't had this problem.

I wanted to love these as I love Hoka OneOne shoes. The toe strap is too large and hurts when I put them on. On the expensive side for what they are in my opinion.

Love the soles, but the straps are too loose and uncomfortable. Sent them back

Was not crazy about the comfort of the sandal, the footbed was not foamy or cushiony, rather hard rubber. I prefer the overall feel of the oofo which is more contoured to my foot, higher arch and roll like motion when walking and lots of bounce

Terrible customer service & the refund or replacement warranty is a sham.
I purchased my first pair & they lasted 7 months before the toe thong broke. I like the support of the flip so I gave them another shot & this time the toe thong broke within 3 months during normal use & after sending pictures and getting the run around, they declined my replacement without any reason.
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY

First of all, I own eight pairs of hoka's shoes.I am a big fan. So I thought to buy a pair of these flip-flops. They are very comfortable to wear, and soft on the feet, but they are not made very well. They only lasted four months of not heavy use. I tried to get a replacement through the warranty department, and they wanted me to mail back the shoes at my own cost and then wait ten days, if it is approved, they would send me a gift card...really!!!! I expected better service out of this company. Very disappointed!! These flip flops are junk.

I have worm the Hoka Recovery flip flop for years…every single day and the quality and comfort was tremendous. They finally had to be replaced after 5 years and I immediately ordered another pair. The material was totally different. Where the original pair was very much like the bottom of a Hoka Sneaker, the new ones are like plastic. So disappointing!

I had to send these back, due to the fact that the toe post is fabric which makes the shoe very sloppy on the foot. The return process was very simple, and I got every penny back; pleasant company to deal with.

shoe was too short-size 6 fit like a 5.5 or smaller. I expect a full size larger would not work for me.

I bought the recommended size and they are far too big. I think better purchased in store where I can try them on.
I am returning them.

I want to start by saying I will never own another brand of tennis shoes again, HOKA is it for me. Sandals on the other hand, I'm so disappointed in these. The thong toe is very uncomfortable and not having half sizes made it very difficult to pick a good size. I'm a solid 6.5. The 6 is most likely too small and that's why I'm not happy with it yet the 7 would've been too big.

They are comfortable except for the edging that goes around the front of the shoe. (That is very uncomfortable and put blisters on the front of my toes) if the front was flat they'd be perfect.

Hoka has changed my trusted Ora Flip's--and not for the better!!! I am BEYOND disappointed in the "new" Ora Recovery Flip, I have worn these shoes for YEARS, now they are at least a full-size smaller and have completely changed the strap--very flimsy.

The strap that runs from the sandal to the toe is very long and every time I walk, I have to squeeze my toes tightly so that it doesn't come off. They are the most expensive and most horrible sandals I have ever bought in my life.
I have some Hoka tennis shoes, and I recommend everyone to buy these tennis shoes because they are extremely comfortable, but I would NEVER recommend sandals, they are horrible.

If you're not standing perfectly upright the heel area of the shoe collapses almost flat and you feel like your standing leaning back. Not supportive or comfortable at all

I ordered a women size and shoes are labeled M & W which is way too wide. Can’t imagine any man wearing these.

The piece that goes between the toes is rough, has sharp edges and is painful when walking. It is too bad they cheaped out with this part because the rest of the shoe is great and would be really comfortable.

I wanted to love these but they are awkward. I love the sole, it is so comfy. The problem is the strap. First off the toe strap portion is toe long and connects to the foot strap at an odd angle. After just a few minutes of wearing I had a red spot on my toes. Now lets move on to the strap. The strap is set way back on the foot and just felt weird. The first pair I bought I sized up because I am a half size but they wouldn't stay on so I sized down and they still slide off.

What happened to the flip flops, between the toes the plastic is so hard. I have sent back 2 flops and 2 slides. I have purchased 3 athletic slides before and 1 flop (which was my favorite purchase) all of them widen at the top part and I had to throw them away, even though they were not worn out. I give up on the flops

I did buy the Ora sandal a few years ago. They were fantastic ! They were like walking on a cloud. That's why I bought them again. This time the material is hard and not like walking on a cloud.
