too bad these flips were so badly fitting. I wear a 9 and ordered a 9. these felt like a 10. i mean the thong portion was so loose that you probably have to order a few sizes smaller. i thought that if these shoes fit someone well they would be very comfortable though and i loved the style. too bad they did not work for me at all

I purchased the previous sandal model last year and I've worn them so much that the treads are getting flat. Love the rubber(?) straps, and love this sandal. Tried walking in the new ones, and not only are the straps uncomfortable, but the sandal, the same size as the other, feels too small. My toes are trying to pinch since it feels like they're going to come off. The cushion feels nice but is not necessary unless perhaps you're just standing, but walking, nope. I am so disappointed !

I love these flip flops except for razor-like edge to strap. I've tried and tried to love them but if I wore them fir any distance I would end up with cuts/sores on the top of my feet

I had to return these although I loved the support and comfort except for the rubbing strap between my toes.I am still waiting on my replacement pair to see if it is just this pair of shoes.I suppose I will call if I don't receive it soon! Been waiting weeks!

I read a few reviews that commented on the toe post being "big" and uncomfortable but since most of my sandals/flips that I wear have toe posts, I thought that they probably wouldn't bother me. HA! That was a joke! They were AWFUL, they didn't rub a blister but it felt like that was coming. I wore them only in the house but for several hours on Saturday and Sunday, just to give them a chance and my feet were so grateful when I took them off. The comfort of the foot bed is so overwhelmed by the pain of the toe posts that you can't even enjoy the cushion. From what I have read, the old version of this sandal had rubber toe posts, these have a synthetic material with a seam that rubs the whole time you have them on, sure wish they hadn't changed them. These will be going back and I might try the slides, I just don't like the look of them as much.

I'm on my feet all day at work, and love my Bondi 6 shoes! Was shocked that the top strap was so rough, liked the sandal enough to keep it, but wasn't certain how it would look after trying to modify the top strap.

This flip flop is comfortable except for the top part of the flip flop and thong area the trip is sharp and feels as if it could cut you if you wear them too long. So sorry before the bottom of the shoe is comfortable

Way too stiff. Uncomfortable to walk in. Between the toe was stiff and would most likely rub skin raw.

Loved the colorway on this flip, and the comfy cushioned sole. BUT! The thong between my toes hurt so much!! No way it was going to ease or stretch over time. So back they have to go.

The flips offered great support for my dropped metatarsals, but the strap fell apart after about 3 months of wearing them around the house.

The thong between my big toe and next toe is HUGE and stiff. I've tried to slowly break them in but it isn't working yet. It is so thick it really hurts.

One of my bestfriends ordered this slippers and she gave it very high reviews. So I ordered one for myself, unfortunately, it arrived and I tried it but I am not used to the boat-type of structure on the sole. It made me feel nauseous as if a vertigo is about to come on if I do not take it off. Also felt that the arch support was high and not geared for low-arch feet. Hence I returned it.
I do have one complaint about the delivery. When my bestfriend ordered her pair, it was shipped to her overnight, but on my order I had to wait 2-3 days.

The strap on top is to flimsy and does not hold the shoe on well. I could see it causing a person to fall going down stairs. strap not made well!

I have many HokaOneOne shoes and I love them all, but these thongs, recently purchased was disappointing, as the rubber strip that goes between the toes is very stiff and of course as it is rubber it does not soften. Not comfortable, cannot wear them!

I really wanted these to work for my every day, run errands, etc. but after wearing only two hours I had pain across the top of my feet where the strap sits. It is a very hard rubber material that has no give. When they say, 'recovery sandal', I guess that means put on sandal then put your feet up to recover. Ugh!

I really wanted to like these shoes. I have arthritis in my foot and bone spurs in the arch area. Hokas are basically all I wear. If they made a little black dress model, I’d wear it. I love the comfort of this flip, and my foot fits beautifully onto the footbed, as long as I don’t use the thong part. I agree with the other reviewers who complained that the toe bar is set too far back on the shoe. I have very long toes, and usually have trouble finding a flip that my toes don’t hang off of the edge. In this shoe, there’s a good 1.5” between my toes and the edge. And that makes my heel hang over the back. I’d go up a size, but then I’d be wearing boats on my feet.
Hoka, please reconfigure these flips! And when they’re perfect, make a few dressy styles for me (and the rest of us with aging feet) to wear with a little black dress.

I really wanted to love this flip flop. I ordered both the Hoka and the original OOfos to compare the two. The original OOfos is too wide, the Hoka width is just right except for one MAJOR flaw. The positioning of the toe attachment is too low, so your foot hangs off the back, and your toes have extra room in the front of the footbed. It's such a shame because they're made well, feel great on the footbed and look sporty. Who wants to pay $50 for a flip flop that doesn't fit properly? Even if I ordered a bigger size, the sandal would be too large. I hope they correct this flaw, so I can try ordering again next year. For now, I'm trying the OOfos OOhlala.

This was a well-made product and the heel was nicely cushioned. However, the strap between the toe was too stiff and rigid. I ended up buying a product from another company that has a canvas strap making the sandal more suitable for me. I own a pair of Hoka slides and these are extremely comfortable. I hope Hoka will think about making a stylish and comfortable summer sandal.

I live in Canada and couldn't buy the recovery flip flops in our country so I purchased them from the US site and had them delivered to a friends house in the US. I just got to my friends house and was dismayed to find that they don't fit right. I have many flip flops and haven't had this problem.

I wanted to love these as I love Hoka OneOne shoes. The toe strap is too large and hurts when I put them on. On the expensive side for what they are in my opinion.
