I had to return them as the straps on the right shoe were so large the shoe wouldn’t stay on. The left shoe, ironically my smaller foot, fit great.

not the usual Hoka quality, I was surprised. The footbed on this shoe has a carved design that hurts my feet. It's a Hoka logo with swirls, nothing to stand on for hours without pain from the imprint (I prefer a non-textured footbed). Also the toe thong on this shoe isn't comfortable at all, the location seems off and the material is rough - made of a rough texture that rubs in between your toes when you walk. I'm surprised at the quality of this shoe, I expected better from Hoka. If you have small, thin feet with thin toes and you are very small/thin (weight), these may be fine for you. If you are an average (heavy) american, these may not be comfortable (unless these issues don't bother you). I don't recommend.

The widths are a bit narrow. My bunoin over hangs. So the lip of the shoes hurt.

Love the brand, well made flip flops, however much too wide for my medium width foot. Too loose, and afraid I would step out of them.

The straps on these are loose so they don't hug your feet. I fear tripping in them due to them flopping around on your foot.

The short nylon strap in between the toes was a bit too too wide. When I walked my toes slid up and down the strap and immediately felt irritated. I think it would only get worse with time. The strap that went across the foot was too loose. My foot did not feel stable in this Recovery Flip.

The toe strap is very uncomfortable . Sandals runs small. I have been wearing the shoes for a long time and no problem whatsoever.

Was excited to get these but very disappointed. Ordered my usual size - the straps are so roomy my foot was completely free. Couldn't tell anything about the fit beyond the length was correct.

I wish there were half sizes. Size 6 is small for me and 7 is too loose, my foot was sliding all over the place. One more thing I agree with other reviewers that the toe strap is kind of hard and hurts, but I have to return it anyway because of the size.

The toe strap is way too big, made for people with very large foot volume, however, as I walked my big toe migrated over the edge. I think this is because the toe strap is way too loose. also the part that goes between the toes is so rough, it is like the 99cent rainbow flipflops my mom bought at the grocery store in the early 80s lol. Big miss. I also ordered a pair of Offos filps, and they fit me perfectly.

I bought the HOKA flip flops. The length was fine but it was too big from the shoe to the strap. I could not keep them on when walking. My foot was too thin, I guess. Also, they weren't as cushy as I was told. The shoe was a little harder than I thought it would be. I love HOKA tennis shoes and have had several so thought I would try their flip flops but they just didn't work for me.

I was looking for a flip flop with good arch support and while they have that the straps are too big and the part between the toes is way too long.

This flip is hard to walk in because the keep slipping off my feet when I'm walking and driving. I spent 60.00 for nothing because I can't wear them

I already bought several slides/sandals but this one really didn't impress me at all. I have problem in walking but I gave this one a try because my little toes are in pain whenever it touches the sides of the slides, so in the beginning it felt like i found a comfortable sandal for me but I stopped using it because whenever I wear it it's creating a electrifying sensation in my left big toes. I don't know what
else to say. What I noticed is the cushioning on left toe are thin so I think it's the caused of my problem with this sandal.

I wear a size 9.5 so ordered a 10 and they were too small. I reordered in 11 and they were huge. Now I'm trying to figure out how to return or exchange these that are too big.
Disappointed,

I was so excited to finally buy the flipflops and when I got them they were way to wide and sloppy on my foot. I ordered a size 11 and it must be for a mans foot. I couldn't wear them and had to send them back.

I have worn the recovery flips for many years. My old ones finally broke so I ordered the new model. The straps are too large for me, even with a very high instep. They are also scratchy and uncomfortable. The arch support is now too low for my high arches, which was what I loved about them, and they are too squishy, more like OOFOS or CROCS. I'm going to try and Frankenstein my old ones as I now have nothing else to wear instead of bare feet and with an old torn posterior tendon injury bare feet is not an option. I do wear my Gaviotas every day. My Gaviota 4s aren't as good and comfortable as the threes. I'm glad I bought 2 pair of the 3s when I did.
The flips are going back today.....after a second try

Wore to work (teacher) and got a shin splint in the left shin and had squeaking in the right. Purchased in hope they would be a good show for Disney, but not so much. For me, They are good for minor wearing, but not for something that requires lots of walking. They are comfy and cushy, so not sure where the shin splint came in- never had that happen before.

I did not find these comfortable the fabric piece between toes is scratchy and bc I don’t have a high arch it felt like a lump in the middle of the shoe.

Was really disappointed with this recovery flip - I was expecting a cushioned footbed, and, it was hard as a rock.
