I ordered these and the slides and was going to return the flip flops because the slides were more comfortable. I decided to keep them and wish I didn’t because after wearing for a few days the tops have stretch out and so they kind of flop around. They are definitely not as stable walking as the slides.

The thong is rough. I returned them before I did not like the feel of the abrasion. Too bad, because other than that, they seemed to be very comfortable. I liked the thickness and spongy feeling. They need to improve the thong.

Love the brand but the old style fit better. I got a blister after wearing one time because of the toe strap

Haven't notice any change in my plantar fasciitis. Also the trim on the top of the sandal is very sharp. It put a slice on the side f my second toe.

The stitched, thick toe divider never got comfortable even with a moleskin wrap. Sent them back to see if a size larger makes a difference (!?), hope so because the footbed has the arch support I have to have to avoid night time foot pain!

So comfortable!!! However, it is August and i've only had since april and the between the toe material has separated so that moisture gets trapped and can't be properly dried out.

The top strap that goes across your foot was like a razor to me. The left shoe. fit but the right shoe made my heel turn out of the sole area. I ended up returning these as I was fearful of a broken foot

I wear them at the pool. But they have fallen apart after less than a month since I received them. I'm very unhappy about that. A $50 purchase should last very long.

These are definitely run to the exact whole size. I’m a 6-6.5. These were 6’s. If you are a 1/2 size, they aren’t great because of the back lip . The triangle material is sharp on the edges. These are more like sub $20 flip flops even with the Hoka sole. I have Hoka running shoes and expected more for the price and from them. Returning them.

I have worn these sandals for one day.....the bottom of my feet feel great.....BUT....the rest of my foot hurts ?? I bought these sandals to help with planter fasciitis. The sandal feels good to walk in..... but the top of the sandal is made out of the cheapest material possible, ruff edges and I have blisters everywhere. If you can wear black socks with these sandals...you might be able to wear them...very dorky, but that’s what I’m doing. I may keep these just to wear around the house, ?

The foot bed is extremely comfortable after standing and walking 12 hours in ICU. Unfortunately due to the large, uncomfortable and even painful throng I am unable to wear these flip flops.
I have and will recommend these shoes based on the comfort of the foot bed while warning about the large throng.

Too loose.....no way to tighten the strap. They felt spongy to me but my daughter LOVES them. I have to return just because of the strap.

I love how comfortable the bottoms are but I can't even wear these for 15 minutes before my toes are killing me. The material used for the top has very sharp edges and it cuts into my toes. Not sure if this will change (maybe the material is just stiff because they are new or if it's just my feet) if not they will be going back. So sad, I wanted the comfort.

As soon as I took two steps in these sandals I wanted to rip them off my feet. It feels like somebody is trying to saw off my big toe with a steak knife. The plastic upper strap is folded in two and stitched together to form that piece that goes between the toes. The piece is very hard and sharp, promises instant blisters. In any other case I'd put these in the box and send them straight back to Zappos, but I bought them for the extra cushioning and sole shape which came highly recommended by my podiatrist. I will try to modify them with some mole skin an hope for the best.
On the plus side, the medium width in these shoes is ample enough for my wider fit. The soles do feel very good, very soft cushioning. The foam seems extremely light for the size, makes me wonder if it will be durable, but this manufacturer is known for it's lightweight shoes so I may be mentally stuck in a lightweight equals cheap paradigm.

I am just recovering from plantar fasciatis and wanted a light shoe for the summer. These flip-flops are light and very comfortable, my heel felt no pain while trying them on . But I did not feel a good enough support in them, the straps are quite flimsy and slim and did not look like they would hold up for very long.
Therefore I decided to return them. Too bad, I really like my other Hoka's and think it is a great brand.

this is the most comfortable footbed in a sandal I have ever worn. But the thong is stiff and rough and caused blisters within one hour.

I have a pair of this flip flop in white. You can see in the images that the bird logo is in a different location. In fact, the cut of the straps part of this sandal is different than that of the white one. Both unappealing and less functional. The white, clear ones have the normal straight line to the straps.

Excited to have received them for our recent beach trip. Loved all but the piece between toes rubbed bad blisters and made them virtually unwearable. Bummed about that! May try to wrap toe strap with something soft so I can use them.

This is my first pair of Hokas. I read all of the reviews and decided to try them. I’ve been trying to get used to them by wearing them for a couple of hours each day, but am still having trouble getting used to the toe post. I find them to be only moderately comfortable and sized on the small side. I ordered the size I always wear, and I don’t think going up a full size would work - I think the fit would be sloppy. In my size, my heel comes to the very end of the shoe with my heel resting on the lip at the back. If the shoe slips even an eighth of an inch my heel sits on top of the lip - not very comfy. The width is fine for my medium to narrow foot. The width might be a problem if you have wide feet. I like the construction of the shoe but I won’t be back to buy more, especially at this price point. I actually wish I had sent them back, but I was pretty sure I would get used to them. Not so sure now...

Fit great! BUT, the toe piece was painful. It was scratchy and an immediate decision maker to not keep the shoes.

The toe piece was scratchy. Too bad because the fit was yummy...I wanted them to work for me, but just walking around the house once proved I would have problems because of the scratching.

I agree with the review that said the top construction of the flip flop is flimsy in comparison to the bottom, wich is HUGE and sturdy. They were loose on me and I am returning them because I have another brand that's cheaper that I was able to walk miles and miles in and I don't think these Hokas will stand up to that test.
