I love Hokas so was excited to find a flip flop. I wear a 9 for a bunion. There was only a 10 or 8 so I tried the 10. It was huge so I returned it and ordered an 8. I couldn’t get my foot into in due to the piece between the tow without my foot hanging off the back. Instead of returning I gave them to my daughter who wears a half size smaller than me. Disappointing for me but at least she can wear them.

My foot hung over just a tad. I am a true size 8 and that's what I ordered.

From trying these on in a shoe store I knew they ran very small so ordered a full size larger and they were fine. I wear a ladies 10 and ordered an 11. I don't believe they sell these in half sizes.

I have neuropathy and I thought with the arch and extra support and having my toes not enclosed in a shoe this would be a good thing for me to try. But people with neuropathy and sensitive feet are not going to find the texture comfortable on the bottom of their feet somehow that texture starts hurting and all you want is some sort of gel like soul to take that pain away. Also I felt a little uneasy like off-balance in them.

Unfortunately I had to return these. The footbed is wonderful and cushioned and supportive but the strap was too tight and the edges were almost sharp - enough that I felt like it would break the skin if I wore them. I do have high arches and my feet cannot be described as flat so maybe that is the trouble. It felt like my feet were just too tall for the strap, if that makes any sense. I did not like how far back on the foot the strap was placed, either.

My wide feet with bunions and arthritis feel great wearing these! I’m a big fan of Hoka shoes, but wasn’t sure how the sandals would work out. I love them!
