i ordered this pair for my mom after buying her a different pair last year. the first pair i got her she loved. they were perfect for walking in the summer months, and she used to walk 10 miles in them no problem. being that she loved them so much i ordered her this pair so she had color options, however this time around they cut up her feet the first day she wore them. i wish they didn't change materials in their recovery shoes bc they are no longer that. i have recommended hoka to SO MANY people and i've been disappointed with my most recent purchases from them :(
i wish they'd go back to their original material and plushness, the price hasn't change but the quality sure has.

They were cute, and I’m so bummed they didn’t work for me. I am a size 7-1/2 and ordered down to a 7. They were still too wide across the front for me, my feet had to work too hard to keep them from flopping. Best to note that I am a smaller framed gal, and I’m finding that every time I get a recommendation for a sandal or shoe from a foot doctor for my plantar fasciitis + Achilles tendinitis, so far, they have all run too wide for me.

Very disappointingly neither the size 6 nor the size 7 fit well enough to want to keep either. The 6 was just a bit too small, causing me to walk on the heel cup. The 7s were way too big. I wear a 7 in HOKA Bondi's and they fit well (most running shoes I size up a full size from 6.5 to 7.5). Since I normally wear a 7 in HOKAs I ordered the same in the sandals thinking the size would translate from the running shoes to the sandals. So, bottom line, the sandals are sized similarly to a regular shoe than a running shoe. Both pairs were returned.

I had broken my left lower leg & ankle 3 yrs ago. I have hardware though in both. My podiatrist told me about Hoka flip flops being comfortable. I thought since it said "recovery" and his recommendation that I should order a pair since my shoe store didn't have my size to try. Received in the mail, I tried them on, and right away it gave me too much pressure in my left foot due to the very high arch and the low other areas. Although my foot is wide, the shoe is still too wide for me. I am sorry, but had to return them.

I really loved these but the fabric between the toes felt uncomfortable. If it were made with something else I think they'd have worked. The footbed felt great and I loved the color. I exchanged them for a different Hoka - fingers crossed they'll work.

they aren't formed to my feet quite as expected, but they seem comfortable. I haven't worn them for any significant period of time to know if they will work and help my foot discomfort but willing to hold on to them and give them a try. They are the most expensive flip flops I've ever purchased. Hopefully the comfort will out-weigh the cost.

I didn’t love these. I purchased these to replace my Oofos which I love but the quality has recently changed. I’m guessing due to the shopping issues across the US. These didn’t have the support that I need.

I own two pairs other Hoka One Recovery (a flip and a slide), these are not super cushioning like the two other pairs that I own. They are not hard by normal shoe standards, but they are much harder than the other Hoka One Recovery shoes I own. I don't know if there was an intentional change in design or if these are knock offs, but they were not what I was expecting nor what I want.

Disappointing too small. My Hoka One One are an 8 but these sandals in an 8 were a bit too small. Since I need a recovery shoe “too small “ doesn’t work.

This is my third time ordering this style flip flop. I was disappointed in the changes made. The straps are made with a different material. The new fabric is stretchy & the design is different resulting in the sandal being too loose.
The thing I like is the the thickness of the sole & the arch. My feet are very sensitive & need the Cush.

The old Recovery flip fit my feet perfectly. Yes, they were a little hard and unforgiving at first, but felt great with excellent arch support once they got broken in. I was taking 5 mile walks in them. This newest Recovery is cushier than the old one, so no break-in period. BUT, the thong is too loose and there is no way to adjust it. I have to hold on to the thong with my toes to keep them on my feet, and even then, they flop around quite a bit. So no 5-mile walks in these! The length is perfect so it is the loose thong that is the problem. Looks like Hoka fixed the perfect Recovery flip until it was broken
