Love the color and wish they had fit but the heal was too hard and thick. All the support was at the heal but little arch support. Also the strap between the toe is too rigid and rubbed between my toes. The ridge on the back of the heal also was not comfortable. I'm disappointed because HOKA's are great quality and loved the color but these didn't work for me.

When I did my return and replacement, I chose the black color ones but received these, and shipping and delivery took longer than my prior experience with the shoes. I do not like the colors and the sandals themselves are bulky with not a lot of room for my foot on the top. They are comfortable when stepping which matters a whole lot and super light weight, however, the split thing on the toes is super low, so they are not as comfortable for the top. Overall not pleased, but will use only at home.

Love the comfort these offer but the strap is big and my foot slides around a lot. Size wise the length couldn't be smaller. I wish the toe bed had a higher edge so my toes don't slide over and out. Bought these for indoor house work during the day..we live in so cal and it's always warm here. I wanted them to be fantastic but they are just ok. I still wear them but prefer my Archie's for support. These are just more squishy in the heel area which is nice.

they have such a good reputation and people love them so I thought I would by the flipflops for the beach. I do like them but they are very loose. they aren't too big in the length but there is too much room once they are on my feet so I have to really grasp them with my toes. and I do not have a skinny foot, I would say they are average but for not skinny.

Seems a little loose, so my toes try to grip to keep them on which is bad for my feet.

This flip flop was not a good fit for me. I bought a size 9W and the "sole" was short. However, the band that goes across the foot and between the toes was too wide. Thus, a larger size would not have solved the problem. It felt short and too lose. Maybe they work for someone with wider feet. I had read the same review when shopping for them but wanted to give them a try myself. I returned easily at my local fleet feet store.

I wear size 8 in the Bondi 7 and Recovery slides. Size 8 in the flip sandal felt like the footbed was a bit short. My heel rested on the edge of the sandal and because of it the arch support wasn’t in the right place. I was not confident that the top strap would stretch and allow my foot to slide forward a little bit more. The size 9 was way too big. It wouldn’t stay on my feet. Returned both sizes. Disappointed. Was hoping to have the support for my plantar fasciitis like with slides but in a better looking option

I love theses sandals but would have bought a size larger since I can't get a half size larger. They just are a little shorter than my regular size.

Super comfortable. I use them only at home. They don't last long. By one year's wear, the toe strap breaks. I'm on my third pair.

These sandals run small in my opinion and aren’t that “special” comfortable for the price. I own over 2 dozen pairs of Hoka running shoes, so I love Hoka shoes…just not at all impressed with the recovery sandals.

They are cute and they feel comfortable, narrower than most, but fit my average width foot. Expected same cush as slide, not made with same material.

I normally wear a size 8. But I had to go up a size because the 8 was very short on my foot. The toe tong should be made out of a different material not very comfortable. I am still deciding on whether or not I will keep these. I have 2 pairs of their sneakers and love them. I was hoping these sandals would be just as good…not sure about that..

My foot was a little too wide and it spilled over the sides a bit. I also was not fond of the toe bar; it wasn't comfortable for me. Very cute, tho, and I wish they would've worked! Every other Hoka product has been wonderful!

I absolutely love the cush of the sandals but they fly off my feet. I wish they offered a slender fit for us that don't have wide feet

My shoes were a great fit on the bottom but way too loose on the top. Not sure if maybe they are unisex shoes or not. Unable to return as no paperwork came with the shoes and I couldnt find my email.

they did not fit me correctly nor was the piece between the toes comfortable-- hard and scratchy.

I am sure that they are a good choice for someone who does minimal walking. I found them to be a bit too spongy when walking in them so I did not feel that I had complete control from not falling accidentally. Perhaps others will like them. I would prefer comfort on top with something more solid in the sole. Would not buy again and I am sorry to say that I put them out for recycling used clothes to a bin.

I was looking for an all around flipflop to wear at home on our hard tile floors. I was told these were pretty comforting to your feet by my foot Dr. As someone with planter faciitis, they could have just a bit more give or rather softness in the heel. Also they are about a half size too small/short. I have seen some state they ran short but I believe the site recommended ordering your regular size. The straps are alot looser than I prefer.. If I had gone up a size they would be too loose. On the positive side I ordered the blue and they are very pretty. If you buy try to go up 1/2 size.

I read the reviews on the recovery flip regarding the issues with the piece that goes between your ties not being positioned correctly, but took a chance anyway. The reviews were correct, the strip that goes between your toes is set back to far and sits at an angle, so trying to wear them became uncomfortable. I ended up returning them and will try the slide next.

I ordered a size 9 and it was much bigger than the size 9 in black that I absolutely love! I sent them back thinking it was a fluke but the next pair that was sent also was much bigger than the one I have been wearing. I brought them to a store that sells Hoka and they said it was definitely at least a size bigger than what it's supposed to be. I am glad that Hoka has such a great return policy.

Was trying to switch it up! Been wearing OOFOS for 12 years and someone mentioned HOKAS and how I should try..
felt the HOKAs were slippery in foot bed and very hard. Definitely not the comfort and recovery you get in OOFOS..
I was going to return, but thought I would give them a chance and wear around a bit longer.. they are OK , but not as comfortable as the oofos.

My foot doctor recommended I purchase the recovery flip flop. I struggled to find the right size. The 9 was the right length but straps were too loose. The 8 was a bit short and my feet are touching the edges making it somewhat uncomfortable. I struggle to keep my foot in the right position. The cushion is good for walking.

This was my second pair. I purchased the 1st pair in 2018 and loved them! Recently the toe post broke, so I ordered another pair. I was excited to see that the new version had a cushy strap. However, after wearing them for a short while, the top of my foot was irritated. Though the strap itself is cushioned, the edge of the strap seems rough. I will admit that the strap is a little loose. I wear a women's size 11 and they seem to assume that a foot that size is fatter than what my feet are. Very disappointed.

Definitely size up if you are a half size. I am 7.5 is street shoe, 8 in boots and running shoes and the size 8 was perfect. Unfortunately I didn't like the rocker action of the sole, so these are going back. The bright orange color is beautiful.
