Let me start with
I've probably had 10+ pairs of Hoka's. They were the only shoe I wore after 4 back surgeries. I could put them on and wear them all day.
But the fan I once was has changed.
First, sizing is crazy inconsistent. 7 is too short. 8 is floppy, sloppy. The fabric straps are tighter on one side.
Second the toe strap has changed angles slightly. The strap between my toes gave me a cut/sore within 1 hour. It's like a sawing motion. I have NEVER had any blister or pain or discomfort w Hoka before this.
This will be my last pair of Hoka flips.

I wanted to love these flip flops like I love the sneakers but I can't. They are way too wide and my feet are flip flopping in them. I have to return or exchange. I with they made these for skinny feet .

I absolutely love HOKA shoes, and could not wait to get these - I bought them specifically for our trip to Hawaii. Unfortunately, they are so loose, I cannot walk in them without having to curl my toes up with each step (this causes cramps in my feet), or they slip right off. I'm really bummed, because when standing in them, they are SO comfortable. I wish there was a way I could tighten the straps.

These sandals look so comfy but the are very loose on my foot. I love my Hoka tennis shoes though.

Size 8 was too small. Exchanged for a size 9 and it was too big. Exchange and return was easy to do.

I lov my Hoka walking shoes so decided to try the flip flops. I received them and thought they were fine but the more I walked in them the harder they were to keep on. They are very wide. Should have sent them back but I walked out on the streets with them

I have 3 pairs of HOKA sneakers. I wanted to try their Flip. Unfortunately, sizing was smaller than the shoe. I am very grateful for Zappos return policy that allows me to try out new shoes.

These shoes are comfy . They are not something I could walk very far in. I love my tennis shoes but will not buy more of these. The toe thong on left foot seems to have stretched .

This should be a great flip flop, but it runs a little small. I am a size 8 in most shoes and I had to order a 9, which is just a little too big. Other than that, really comfortable.

On my foot, the toe pick caused the flipflop to continually pull my heel up onto the cupped side of the heel. I have a pair of slides for this same brand and absolutely love them so thought I would try the flipflops. I will be purchasing from this brand again, this particular style just didn't work for me.

These look great and feel comfortable in terms of spring and overall cushion. However, the inside of my heel gets pushed to the edge so they don't sit right on my feet when I walk.

I am a true 8.5 and the 8 was too small, 9 was too big. Arch support is high and not sure I liked that pressure.

Love the soles of the shoe. Very comfortable. But the strap over your foot and between your toes is uncomfortable. I ended up getting sores from it and my feet have hurt for 4 days after wearing them.

Was on the fence about this review because I am a HOKA fan! My husband, father, mom, brother, friends all wear and love their HOKAS. The Recovery Flip flop is a flop. It is not as comfortable as my OlaKai flip flops. They are not as comfortable as OOFOS. Sure, walk around in the HOKA recovery flip when you get them out of the box and they feel great. It won't take long for you to feel the floor and it is no longer a spongy, feel good, recovery flip flop. Bummer, because I am a huge HOKA fan. I did not return them. I will wear them coming and going from the beach.

I had hopes for these as I need decent flips for wearing around the house. I usually wear an 8.5 so tried a 9 which just flopped around on my foot and didn't fit at all. The strap over the top was way to loose and my preference is to have a flip flop that hugs my foot across the top. It's difficult to find a sandal that does that, even though I have wide feet. I will size down and try an 8.
