I own two pairs other Hoka One Recovery (a flip and a slide), these are not super cushioning like the two other pairs that I own. They are not hard by normal shoe standards, but they are much harder than the other Hoka One Recovery shoes I own. I don't know if there was an intentional change in design or if these are knock offs, but they were not what I was expecting nor what I want.

So incredibly comfortable! My plantar fasciitis has caused brutal heel pain. While I normally wear orthotics, I sometimes just need total cushioning of the heel. These feel really, really good.

Disappointing too small. My Hoka One One are an 8 but these sandals in an 8 were a bit too small. Since I need a recovery shoe “too small “ doesn’t work.

My doctor ordered these for severe arthritis in my big toe joint. The bottoms of them are awesome! Supportive, comfortable, and firm so they don't bend a lot. I have some difficulty with the design in the tops of them. The top between the toes goes off to an angle rather than straight which is not real comfortable for me. Cuts a little into the middle toe. If the design was straight they would have been perfect.

The flip flop is horrible, with material that is unforgivable when it comes to sweating, it does not absorb any moisture, it actually becomes very slippery, and during the summer you'd be walking in your own sweat. It's rubber, it makes no sense.
The divider in the middle has glue sticking out that cuts into your skin when you walk, and it rips apart the skin. It's the worst part of this shoe. My toes hurt just by walking around the house. It's also so wide, that it doesn't let the toes sit comfortingly between the divider.
I do not understand why they would make a flip flop with material that rips apart the skin in the middle of the toe.
The sole of the shoe has so much cushioning in the middle that it feels like a ball under the foot, and it thins out in the front. It creates an off balance walk, and for small feet it is extremely uncomfortable. It tries to be a running shoe without being a running shoe, and I just sucks. Even the running shoes has better material than these flip flops.
I DO NOT recommend these at all. I'm returning it the same day I got it delivered because they are just that bad.

It's unfortunate these shoes are not true to size. They do stretch a little after wearing them after awhile. Actually, I wet the shoes and that helped with stretching them. I love these flip flops but I hope Hoka can figure out the sizing so that we do not have bother with stretching, etc.

I bought these a couple of years ago and was unable to wear them because of the toe divider. It was extremely uncomfortable and ripped my skin, creating a sore. I even tried to wear them with toe socks and they still hurt my toes. Suggest redesigning the toe divider and using a kinder material, like suede or ribbon of some type. I did eventually give them to my niece who has no trouble wearing them. It seems they are not the best option for women with sensitive feet.
