These are the best shoes I've ever worn. They are so comfortable. I can wear them all day without my feet or legs hurting. Definitely recommend!

When I have to stand or walk on cement floors, Hoka helps so much. It is as if I am not feeling the hard floor in stores or wherever. Not that I shop a lot, mainly grocery shopping, YUCK!

Im commenting in regards to the review by "hooked on HOKAS", I too am a Solomon girl, ran in the shoes and none other, I do love them for what they are meant to do, however in long distance running I question as well the amount of cushioning they provide. I live in Hawaii, our terrain here is unbelievably difficult running in especially the island where i reside on. it was mentioned questioning the ability of these shoes handling in diverse terrain such as roots, wet rocks, etc. well no choice here to have to run on that everyday, since there basically isn't a dry trail around, i put them through the ringer, i couldn't believe how stable they handled over all the different types of ridiculous terrain. and the biggest plus is the cushion, my feet were happy after many miles on them. Due to being a faithful Solomon girl, I would have never tried hokas if it wasn't for the review I read. I would like to try a model with a little less cushion as well. But for now I am super happy with these.

These shoes are amazing. I’m a surgical tech in an operating room and I stand all day. The shoes are true to size and give amazing support. They are also excellent if you do a lot of walking. I’d definitely buy these shoes again!!!

Traveling to Israel and will be doing a lot of walking on gravel and dirt. Because of multiple foot surgeries and hardware( screws and plate) in my foot I was most interested in the description of wider toe bed. Went for my first preparation hike and they were very comfortable and didn't cause my foot to go numb. So excited to have found a comfortable shoe for my travels

I was a diehard Salomon shoe girl but a year into racing and I started noticing that even with new shoes there is zero cushion in their trail shoes. As a gift, a friend sent me $ for trail shoes and I decided to try Hoka's. I had read a ton of info on them and they appeared to be cushionier. I'm absolutely in love. They are amazing!! I'm so happy and I'm never going back. I haven't run with them in slippery, exposed rock conditions and am somewhat concerned about their lack of grippy lugs, like Solomon had but I'm sooo blown away by the comfort it almost doesn't matter. I'm not going back.. I'm in love! (P.s. Three run in these shoes and I tackled The North Face endurance 10K up Mt. Wachusett, I took 14 minutes off my time from last year)!

I have had a big toe joint removed so I need padding and a good rocker motion. These do it!

These are a godsend for me. I'd tried the previous version of the Stinson, but found the toe box too tight. For once, I'm glad a shoe company significantly changed a shoe line. These have a perfect toe box for my slight bunions. Amazingly cushioned and bouncy. I'm glad they added a shoe with a wider toe box, as everything else about their shoes have always been great. Due to special issue with the ball of my foot, I replace the insole with a New Balance Total Support one, which fits well. I get a lot of compliments on the dusty blue/purple color. Literally people yelling out of their car window that they love my shoes.

I like the arch support for running but when I'm done I put on the Challengers I find them more comfortable then the Stinson if I am just walking around. The Arch bothers me on Stinson if standing around. Love the Stinson for trail running. Appreciate the extra cushion over the Challengers.

I spend a lot of time walking my dog in the woods, so great shoes are a must. I love the larger toe box and awesome cushioning. I had been wearing the ATR 2 but it' no longer available. I was happy that I like these even more. The only thing I would improve on, is a thicker tongue, I have this ankles so I need to tie tight. But I have bony feet, so it hurts when I have to tie them real tight when the tongue is not thick enough.

These shoes for me were a game changer for my first Hoka shoe trail run. I could take the pounding running down steep trails, with my Solomon speed cross or Cascadia Brooks I could not. I found myself passing people normally I am more of an up hill runner. Also kept all my toe nails. Lost nails with both of the other shoes mentioned even when I sized up! My toes were not even sore. I suppose they are bulkier but I don't care. I tripped once in 14 miles but that's normal for me I am 50 year old female. I either wear 6.5 or 7. In these I went with the 6.5. With these shoes size is very important.

I work in a hospital, on my feet all day. This is my 4th pair of Hoka's. I doubt I'll ever wear anything else. The comfort and support in the Stinson ATR 4 can't be beat!

I'm either 6.5 or 7. This model went with the 6.5. Love the cushion I purchased for trail runner technical in the mountain. Ran on road today will continue to train on the road with these because tired of having so many specialized shoes. For me the fit I believe is perfect. I could come off steep hills faster with more comfort. I think should be able to navigate rocks just fine on trails. I am a 50 year old runner. I also have the Challengers in size 7. There is a difference in cushion. I possibly like the breakover on the stinsten better. Love both. This week end I'm choosing the stintein over the Challengers for my first Hoka trail race. Was running in Brooks and Salomon. I have a lot of shoes!

I was having pain in my big toe from carrying my weight too far forward and leaning forward over counters. These shoes help me walk again and relieve the pain, so i can get out an excercise! I like the wide toe boxand I was able to easily put in my orthotics. Great shoes, worth the price!

I have both the Stinson 3 and Stinson 4. I am so glad they down played the sole in the 4s this time. I absolutely love the cushion and major stability I get in the Stinson, but was not a fan of how large the soles were. I still feel great in the 4th generation and love them! Now I feel like they look even cooler! Being a distance runner and trail marathoner, cushion and support are key to keeping me on my feet! These shoes are a must have in my running closet!

I returned the Stinson ATR 4 because my 2nd toe rubbed the top of the shoe at the seam. I reordered the Elevon and LOVE IT. Fits great and doesn't have a seam on top to rub my toe.

These shoes are incredibly comfortable. No break in time required. I developed knee and foot problems by wearing cheap shoes and Hoka shoes have helped with the great support. These are my second pair and have a third pair in mind. I really enjoy the fun colors, too. =)
I'd also recommend:

This shoe is by far my favorite! I tried the peedgoats before but didn't work for me then exchanged them for this ones! And their cushions and their widenes allow me to trail run 18+ miles with no pain in my feet and blister free they have been a game changer! Yes they run wide but that's the purpose of them to give your toes good space to relax on those long trail runs! And specially when feet get swollen they work for me and i love them!
