Great shoes! I would actually say you don’t have to size down for these at all, *maybe* if you have a super narrow foot but generally I think these fit true to size. I will note that they were a little snug when I wore them with my thicker crew socks, but this was easily fixable by wearing my adidas no show socks. I ordered my regular size and I am very happy with my purchase!

Love my checkboard platform Vans! Wanted something a little different and went with the platform version of the classic slip-on. They are awesome! They fit perfectly and are true to size. I wear a women's 8.5 or men's 7 and these fit as predicted. More modern and stylish! Love!

Vans are always the most comfortable slip on sneaker. They came really fast and fit true to size.

I typically wear a 6.5, I sized down to a 6.0 on this version and am happy that I did. Very easy to wear, perfect breathable slip on sneaker.

Love these Vans platforms. I bought them in black and in white. The fit is true to size. My feet tend to be on the narrow side so I had enough room to put heel pads and a regular foam insole, (not double thick or gel) which I do with most of my shoes, and they fit just right.

I always have to go a half size down in Vans, and these were the same as other styles (typically I wear a women's 9, but in Vans I wear an 8.5). These are a super cute spring/summer option for casual wear, and I love the platform look. Like my other Vans, these are pretty flat and offer no arch support, but that was expected - they're not a long distance walking shoe.

I am loving these shoes! They're fun, they fit right, they have support on par with shoes that are more expensive and similar in style. I recommend!

Others said sizing runs large - I’m generally an women’s 8 or an 8.5, so got an 8. Still too big - my feet are pretty narrow, and though the length was okay (a little toe room) the shoe was loose around my foot. Exchanged for the 7.5, which was perfect. Still long enough but snugger. So go down a half a size for an average or wide foot, and maybe a full size for a narrower foot. The shoe itself, as with the Vans of my teenage years, is very soft and comfortable.
