I sized up to wear with socks (normally wear a 8M/10W in classic crocs, got the 9M/11W in these). You should be able to fit socks wearing your normal size, but it's harder to get the boots on and off if you do that. These feel a tiny bit more narrow than the classic clogs do, but it's not bad (and I have wide hobbit feet). Keeps your feet perfectly dry in snow or rain, good traction on the bottom. Feet do get sweaty though.
The inside is not just the rubber material, on the bottom part it's like a sneaker (a thin insole with a fabric top).

I really liked the looked of these but hesitated to buy them because of some of the negative comments. Because of Zappos’ easy and convenient return policy I gave them a try. I’m sure glad I did. I had none of the size/fit issues and they fit and look great. One thing though , I usually wear a size 9 but the size 8 fit perfectly. Excellent boots.

I bought these to use as something easy to slip into when doing general yard work. So far ther are working great for that. I don't know if I would want to do any serious digging in them but that was never my intent.
