I bought the Grey paid of this boot which has the felt topper and also "Sperry Saltwater Wedge Tide" in Black to compare to see which I preferred. I went with this Grey pair. Both looked good on and the foot area felt good. However, the Black pair had a leather ankle and this Grey one has a felt ankle. The leather felt more sturdy and looked a little better, but the felt was much more comfortable when tied up tight. The leader was constrictive and the felt allowed much more movement. I'm a little nervous about the water proof-ness of the felt and the wear of it. But I will be wearing these to get through slush to run errands most of the time, so I think they should wear well. Also, the zipper on the back is helpful, but when the shoes are really tied well I don't think the back zipper alone can only be undone to get the boot back on. But it works to get it off.

These are super cute boots! Perfect for any winter day. They look great with a pair of leggings and are great for outdoor play or wearing to the store. I love them! My 5 year old daughter has a similar pair. She gets compliments all the time.

These are such cute winter boots! I can't wait to wear them for my first winter here in TN! They are definitely true to size - no need to size up or down. I plan on wearing them with thick Smartwool socks, so that's how I tried them on when they arrived, and they are definitely going to be plenty warm and even with thick thick socks, I still have plenty of toe room. For reference, I am almost always an 8.5, but in hiking boots (Keen Terradora) I wear a 9. The size 8.5 in these Sperry boots are perfect.

Love these boots for quick trips out in the snow. I thought the back zipper would be easy on/off but it's not as easy as I hoped.

Very Stylish Winter Boot. I have a narrow foot, shaft was very snug, didn't want to force my foot down inside the boot. Sent the boots back for this reason. I wear a size 10. Need thick socks or wool socks if you want your feet to stay warm. Not sure if they were water proof.

This shoe was just ok. Returned for the LL Bean rain boot. This boot has a lot of cushion and comfort. But the style just was not there. The gray rubber was strange looking. I did not like it.

These are super cute but be prepared to spend 15 or more minutes trying to lace them up. Too bad but I don't have time for that. Had to send back
