In medium thick socks, these boots were long in the toe and very tight around the instep. Unwearable. For reference, merrels fit perfectly at an 8.5.

Highly disappointed in this purchase. The product runs large. This is not my first pair of Columbia boots. Ordered my regular size and turns out the boot runs big, I put the boot on and wore it only to find that within 1/2 an hour I was swimming in the boot because it was too big.
