I was in market for hiking boot and looking at Under Armor and Columbia offerings. When PeakFrek boot went on sale I moved forward with purchase. Boot is light, comfortable, and feels well made. I would recommend this item to others in the market for a good hiking boot.

I am very pleased with this as a walking shoe and hiking boot. It is waterproof, goes on and off easily, comfortable, and fits nicely. This is the fourth version of this boot that I have owned over the past several years. This one was slightly better quality than previous one. They seem to make small improvements in the product line over time.
For now I plan to stick with Columbia for walking boots due to a string of success stories.

Best shoe I've had in 20 years. The only shoes I ever had more comfortable were Jordan's back in the 90's.

Love the hiking boots. Light weight and very comfortable as an engineer for a telecommunications company I sometimes have to walk several miles in an afternoon and was looking for a comfortable and durable lightweight boot. So far I am extremely satisfied with my purchase.

Love this boot. Warm, waterproof and comfortable as a slipper. Great ankle support, grippy treads and a lot less "clunky" than most boots.. I normally wear an 11 and ordered that size but it was tight. Called Zappo's customer support and they delivered the 11 1/2 size the next day (how do they do that???). Fits great now - did I mention that i love these boots.

I really love it. Comfortable, warm, stylish. My favorite part is the sole and the amazing grip in ice and snow. My one downfall is the upper doesn't get close to my leg at all so I get snow in the top of the boot. But overall very happy and would recommend.

Overall a really good boot. I put these on and wore them for a 9 mile hike right out of the box. It was a cold day with a variety of terrain. I took these boots through snow, over wet, snowy, and icy bridges and water crossings, and my feet stayed warm and dry all day long. My only complaint is the that one of the metal lace eyelets seems to dig into the top of my foot a little. I'm hoping this goes away after the breaking period.

A coworker recommended Columbia boots for the mountainous region we operate in daily. Quality is very good but the fit is way too small for size displayed. Toe and medium width are not the 10.5 I have worn for many years.
