I got this bootie for a very specific purpose. I live in a rural area on a property with several outbuildings, sheds and such, which I go among on a daily basis. Previously I have used winter boots every single time I go outside, and sometimes that's more putting on and taking off of highly structured footwear than I want to do for a quick trip out to the wood rick, for example. I needed something I can just slip on and off, but also something warm with enough traction to deal with conditions in the yard, over snowy pathways among the buildings. This bootie is good for exactly that -- going a small distance over a snowy path on top of grass/dirt/gravel. This is basically a snow slipper, a warm puffy little thing with enough of a sole and a bit of traction to get you through the conditions just outside your house, or your tent if you are winter camping. It has no arch support or real boot structure. Personally, I would not use it if I were going further than across the yard. But for my purposes, it is perfect. Recommend.
