I purchased these for an upcoming trip to Iceland. Super comfortable, cute, and WARM. I did end up ordering A half size larger. They run similar to workout sneakers for me.

I love these winter boots! So soft and comfortable. I swapped out the laces with elastic laces and I can slide them on and off without untying them, which makes them more practical for me too.

This is a nice boot. I’d order your regular size, but that’s just my opinion. I ordered Zappos recommendation but probably should have ordered my regular size, may do an exchange to see which one fits best. They are comfy but if you’re looking for good arch support, this is not the shoe for you. It’s a shoe for rainy days but I wouldn’t use them in hardcore weather. If you’re looking for a brand that is an all around good shoe, any weather type shoe, a rugged shoe, look in other brands and not north face imo. Brands like Kamik or Keen or Merrell. North Face is good for light everyday wear, nothing rugged imo.

For being advertised as a winter boot not very warm. Need to wear wool socks with them to keep my feet warm in milk winter conditions. Also, where the laces start on top of the foot hits a very weird part of the foot and hurt quite a bit for the first few weeks or wear. For being all lace up boots they are quite fast to get on with the pull loop at the back. The leather feels like great quality and the boots are great for wearing around day to day when you don't want a bulky winter boot with all the fur that most of them have.

I loved how comfortable, warm and dry these boots were on my feet, but the style is a bit too military for my liking. They are also a bit of a pain to put on and take off.

These boots were great for the snow. They look really sleek and because they have laces they tighten nicely. I wore them with thin socks and thin leggings which went under the boot and then over I wore snow pants, my feet and legs were warm and dry all day. The only downside is that it takes about 5 mins to put them on and take them off, I would suggest loosening them a lot so it's easy to take off and put on.

These boots are great for winter. They are warm, waterproof and have good traction on the sole of the shoe. I use them at work and for running errands. They are comfortable, fashionable and functional. They seem durable and well made. I love the leather and hope it just gets better over time with my leather sealing/conditioning treatments. They are fairly easy to slide on when the laces are loose. If you wanted easier slip-on ability, a pair of elastic laces would probably help with that. I look forward to using these boots for many season to come.

I use it when it's cold and looks like it will rain/snow. I like the fit and how it doesn't make me look like I'm wearing clown shoes. I have wide feet so oftentimes when I go for wider shoes, the shoes just look bulky. These are sleek. I can also add in an orthotic and wear thick socks without it feeling overly snug.

I purchased the boots to wear everyday casually during the winter with jeans. However the boots hurt my foot when I walk. It's almost like something is digging into the top sides of my foot. I was thinking maybe they need to be broken in but I tried wearing them twice and same thing. It's off. I'm thinking they must be defective because it's odd. I'm disappointed and need to return them.

If it wasn't for the laces (it takes too long to put on the boots) I wouldn't have returned them, cause they're perfect otherwise - it's hard to come by a boot that's waterproof, has insulation, good traction, and looks reasonably stylish and not bulky

I love thie fit but i need a short version of this for dairly use.
Lose the top 2 loops, add a pull on loop in the back and it would be perfect

It is warm and same as the picture shows. But it is difficult to take off and wear it. Also, the leather looked worn out when both feet conflicted each other while walking.

These are really stylish boots and for the most part, very comfortable. I wear size 11 and have an average size leg. I didn't care for the lack of cushioning in the sole. I felt they were to baggy thru the upper part of the boot, around the ankle. For these reasons, I returned them.

It is a warm winter boot, but grips are poor for winter, icy conditions. Can be very slippery

Oh my god. I thought these boots will be warm from all the reviews I've read but it is sooooo not true. I feel so bad because I really did a ton of research before settling on these boots but they are not warm at all. It's only -3C and walking in a little snow, my feet are freezing. I'm so sad

NOT WATERPROOF IN SNOW. I am wearing these right now in Northern Europe (December - January) for a trip, going to snowy countries (Finland, Baltic countries). Although they arm warm and comfortable, unfortunately it's NOT WATERPROOF, and it gets slightly wet on on the heels/back of the shoes. Happens for both shoes. I notice it is happening when I am out in the snow extensively (more than 4 hours). At first I thought it could be sweat, but I felt the back + insides of the shoes, and it is getting wet on the outside & inside where the heel area is.
Although it's not the end of the world (it's not overwhelming amounts of water) and I'm still wearing it for the remainder of the trip (just wear 2 pairs of socks to block the wetness), for the price I paid, it is annoying it isn't fully waterproof in the snow. It started getting wet in about 2 weeks of use. And I'm not sure whether it's possible to get a refund from NF (even with the lifetime warranty) since the shoe has been worn.
One reason I *THINK* it gets wet is because the heel is not high enough. While in Europe, I noticed everyone else's boots in the snow. Many people have *higher* heels (not high heel shoes), whereas if you notice this pair, the seams starts very low. I am guessing the water is going through the seams and the leather.

This boot looks very nice out of th box, however there is either too much material or something because it does a very weird bunching up effect around the ankle of the boot when it's all laced up. It needs to be more sturdy.
