Great style but tight fit for me had to return.

I ordered these in black and was hoping for something more stylish. They felt more like snow boots than I was going for. The “waterproof leather” felt like a synthetic and wasn’t flexible like leather. They were really comfortable though, so I think I’ll get the tall version for a winter boot option. When I bought these I was going for a black ankle/moto boot in a comfortable boot and these weren’t that. I returned these for a leather black ankle boot.

I was so excited for these boots and I really wanted to love them. I've had two pairs of their predecessor, the De La Vina Low in size 9 and they are my absolute favorite. They both fit like a glove right out of the box and provide excellent arch support. I was very disappointed by the Dos. I'm 8.5/9 and could barely cram my foot into the size 9 because it was so narrow. Once on, it pinched everywhere, especially the instep. I thought about trying the next size up to accommodate the narrowness but it would have been far too long in the toe box. Needless to say, I sent these back and hope Teva brings back their previous design.

Sad to say, these boots are defective, at least in size 7 1/2 M. The right shoe is much smaller than the left and has a very sharp interior toe end. After observing this in my first order, I ordered a second pair, thinking it an isolated occurrence. Not so, the second pair are just the same, although there was also a scuff on the toe. Too bad. I really liked them. Not up to Teva quality.
