I love these boots and they really DO look great with everything from jeans to dressier pants to skirts. They are a perfect fit and the leather is beautiful. Fabulous Frye craftsmanship.

These are a bit of a squeeze to get on but they're worth it. You just need to angle your foot to the side and slip them on that way instead of trying to pull these on by sticking your foot into the shoe right in front of you. I was worried about the heel height, but I don't even notice because these are so comfortable. I wish these were made in the USA. Otherwise, very nice, comfortable, elegant boot that can be dressed up or down.

Very stylish. Awesome quality. Kind of western/cowboy style. The heel is too high for me.

This is the third pair of Chelsea Frye boots I have purchased the past few months! Absolutely love how I can wear them all day and actually all year. I am a boot person and these boots are the best for the price.

Purchased online, could not be happier with the product. I am usually a size 8 but I always size up to a 9 with Frye boots, the Diana Chelsea being no different. The goring is a little stiff, quite a narrow opening so not the easiest to pull on and off. Worth the struggle in my opinion. They are beautifullllll and really really comfortable. Very well made, Killer kicks!

My husband bought these boots for me for my birthday. I am a Frye girl I have 3 pairs of Frye boots already and these do not disappoint the same high quality and comfort. I slipped them on and wore them all day no discomfort in having to break them in.

I bought these in black and have worn them daily since I got them. They go great with jeans or leggings and wear so comfortably.

The Diana Chelsea is the perfect combination of all the things I look for and love in a bootie. High quality/Comfort/Stylish/Versatile/Ease of use. The rubber on the outsole/heel adds traction and confidence when walking on slicker surfaces. The Grigio colored Italian suede in sunlight is beautiful. Much prettier than the website photos. My normal shoe size is 8.5. I went up a 1/2 size for a perfect fit. Note the shaft is higher but the goring makes them manageable and there's a pull tab on the back. My first time slipping them on, I thought I might need a boot horn but with repeated wear, I'm now easily in/out. I prefer wearing them with thin trouser socks. I've worn them all day running errands without discomfort. Chelsea's are both formal and casual which makes them ideal for business travel when I sadly need to limit the number of shoes I can pack. They can be worn in the office during the day and at night dress up a pair of jeans. Aesthetically, I really like the fusion of the almond toe and heel giving it a subtle Western flair.

These are really nice looking boots! But, you must have a shoehorn, or you will never get them on. I grew up showing hunter/jumpers and wearing riding boots, so the way these go on is not a dealbreaker for me, but it may be for you if you just want something easy to slip on. They are also narrow and on the small side. I went up half a size based on other reviews, and I'm glad I did. Don't get me wrong, I love these! But they are a bit of a challenge!

Bought this on Cyber Monday and its a stunning boot. Everyone says they will stretch out and that they are true to size. I have to disagree. I couldnt even get this on... Go a whole size up.

These are not broken in yet; they are still only two-wearings new. I love them, of course; I am a loyal Frye customer. Other pairs I have are pull on (harness) or zipper aided. These, with the stretchy gusset, are very, very hard to put on and take off. Thank goodness I have an old shoe-horn laying around and a teenage daughter to pull my boots off for me. First time I needed her help with this she let go for some reason (why do teenagers do half of what they do?!) and I did a backwards summersault off her bed. I'm ok (lol), but that is how hard we were pulling against each other.
I marked the fit as true to size because I do fit into the 9's, like I wear in every other Frye boot (I own 4 pair). HOWEVER, they are NARROW. For some reason (perhaps the almond toe?) they feel much more narrow than my other boots.

I am a Frye lover, but I returned this boot for two reasons. 1) I normally wear an 8.5 and have typically had to size down for Frye boots, so I ordered these in 8. They were WAY too small! I couldn't even get my narrow foot into the boot... so I never put them on. 2) the heel was a little higher than I wanted, but otherwise a beautiful boot.

Beautiful color. This boot was very well made but for me, the shaft hight was awkward. It was just a bit too short or a bit to tall. If it was made a a shorter bootie or taller boot, it would be great for me.

I bought these around christmas and absolutely loved how they looked in the box. But, when I went to put them on it was almost impossible to put my foot in the shoe since the opening doesn't stretch at all. I'm a size 9 with narrow/medium-width feet. I spent forever trying to fit my foot through the opening only to get my feet in a while later, but it just took way too much effort considering I'd attempted multiple times before and ultimately given up. They were also a little narrow/tight overall, which has never been a problem with my previous Frye purchases. So, I decided to return them because it just wasn't worth that much effort every time of trying to maneuver my foot through the small opening and being worried about stretching them.

I love the look of the boots once they were on, but it was a struggle to get them on my feet. The goring on the shaft of the boot is very stiff. Unfortunately, I will have to return these shoes

Impossible to put them on... I hope never to see these boots in front of me in a TSA line. Tried my normal size (8.5) on first, but they felt a whole size too long (and I have long toes). Tried the 8 next, or should I say I tried to try them on... couldn’t even get one foot in the boots. Going back! These will probably end up on a TJMaxx shelf seriously discounted due to the poor design. Sad, as they are awesome-looking boots.

These boots are so cute, but I couldn't get them on my feet. They have a very small opening with NO zipper. I have a nice, long shoe (boot) horn, but even with that, my socks just get jammed up while I'm trying to get my foot in. The elasticized gussets hardly allow for any expansion at all. I bought online and I'm sad that I'll have to return these :(

I usually love frye boots and have never had any issues with fit in the past, but these have been awful. They are beautiful at face value but extremely challenging to get on and off. They are not comfortable at all and leave my feet in pain for days. It seems like they are only made for very narrow feet.

The boot is beautiful but it is nearly impossible to pull it on. I got it on once, needed help to get it off, and was not successful pulling it on again to give it a second chance! Had to send back!
