Bought these to take on a ski/snowmobile/dogsled/snowshoe trip to Big Sky. First impressions: durable, great traction, relatively light, warm! Wore merino wool boot socks and they fit true to size. Like the color and the classic style. Seem like they could handle quite a bit of abuse and would hold up well! Love them!

I have always loved Sorel's. They are made to be able to get out there in the worst weather. I could have used a half size large to accommodate thicker socks. But don't be mistaken the size was true to my foot size.

I bought these two years ago and I wore the heck out of them. Ordering them again because they got stolen out of my truck. Perfect if you're outdoorsy-- ice fishing, snow shoeing, perfect for before and after skiing because they come on and off easy, hold their shape, and still cute! Other reviews are saying they are too bulky and I agree they are bulky if you are looking for something lighter but if you need something that will make your feet nice and toasty during snow activities, they are worth the money x10! I'm usually a 7.5 and fit in a 7 with normal snow socks

I have owned a pair of caribou boots for several years and am ordering another pair since my basset hounds seems to love them as much as I do! They do run large and they have a very roomy toe but that allows for lots of toe movement and circulation. I also find that they are really easy to slip in and out of and sometimes I wear them without any socks because they are amazingly warm! They are quite heavy and can feel clunky initially but they are so sturdy and warm and have the best traction. I like the classic styling and the clunkiness adds to the feeling of "this is a serious winter boot". I can walk all day in them too! Very comfortable. I live on the North Shore of MA where we get quite of bit of snow as well as 20-30 degree temps often. I normally take a size 8 1/2 to 9 in a boot and these fit me well at a size 8 with plenty of toe wiggle room.

I bought your caribou men's boots about 4 years ago and it is a fantastic product. My feet fit comfortably and stay dry. I love that the lining comes out. I just wish your manufactured it in the USA.

Love this boot. Hiking, snowshoeing it's perfect, and excellent traction (recent ice Storm proved that). I should have bought a half size down though, this is big even with thick socks. Overall this is a perfect boot. Lining very nice too. Hits well in mid calf for tucking in or leaving pants out.

I bought these boots for going ice fishing because my other boots wouldn't keep my feet warm and I absolutely love them. My feet never get cold in these with a pair of wool socks. I can be outside in cold temperatures fishing without my feet freezing. The only thing I would recommend is going a half size down with your shoe size. I usually wear a size 9, and I bought a size 8.5 and they fit perfectly. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who has to be outside for a long time in these cold temperatures!

I purchased these boots after debating between the Tofino and Caribou and finally decided on the Caribou as it was rated for colder weather. I wear a size 10 and ordered that size as I like to wear thicker socks and couldn't be happier. These were comfortable from the minute I slid my foot in and my toes were toasty, too! We have been experiencing an unusually cold winter and these are functional, cute and warm.

I had this style boot for about 15 years. They keep your feet so warm and toasty in cold Ohio winters. I believe in this brand and only this brand !

I am replacing my Caribou Sorels after over 30 years of wear. They have kept my toes warm in northern Minnesota and in the Colorado mountains.

If you are going to be anywhere snowy and cold - you need these. If it's 20 below, your feet will always be toasty, even if the rest of your body is freezing. Say goodbye to cold feet. Be forewarned however that these boots are huge and bulky - when I first took them out of the box I was a little taken aback and they seemed like too much. But, as soon as I stepped outside somewhere snowy I fell in love. These are definitely heavy duty clunky snow boots but they are surprisingly comfy and cute. I bought a pair of Tofinos for commuting to work and running around the city in cold weather but my Caribous are the go to when I'm heading to the mountains. You won't find a better snow boot. Note that they do run big. I went down a half size from my street shoe size (and I always am wearing heavy socks too).

I wear a size 7 in Sorel products I ordered the 7.5 because I wanted to wear them with thick socks. The main issue with this boot is that they are bulky; however, they are amazing to walk in the snow. While others are slipping and sliding I am soldiering on. The boot itself has a wide toe box; as a result, a person's feet will look larger than they are. Remember ladies' we are not buying these to wear at Fashion Week in NYC. They are functional and warm. One last thing they work best when the user wears wool blended socks/moisture wicking socks.

These shoes allow me to walk through the NYC slush with confidence. I normally wear a size 6.5 but they were a little large so I exchanged for a size 6 and they fit perfectly. I can wear a thick sock with a little room in the boot and my feet stayed warm and toasty. They are a little bulky but that is to be expected and worth it when you're walking through the snow without getting your feet wet/cold (and look good doing it). These were exactly what I was looking for and I look forward to wearing these all winter long.

I bought these because I moved into the city and now walk everywhere I go. If you have ever lived in a wintry city, you know when it snows not everyone shovels. So you are stuck trucking through blocks of snow. In these boots my feet feel as warm as they do at home!!! Yes, they make me feel like I have an elephant's foot, but when the temps are cold it is not about fashion. Even still, I love the tan swayed and the fluff at the top. Oh, and I would recommending going a size up. I am usually anywhere between 7.5-8 and I went with an 8. Fits like a charm.

You can buy your boots 0.5 less than your size. For example, I am size 10.5 and the boots that I bought were 10.5 which were too big. So you can buy a boots size 10.

This is my second pair of Sorel winter boots First I love that they fit my feet. I have had a bunion for years. It's a nightmare buying any type of footwear. I can wear your boots for hours without any pain and discomfort! Second - they keep my toes and entire foot warm and dry the entire time I am outside. We've had over 15 in of snow this year. My socks stay dry whether I'm out walking or using the snow blower. I do wish they had a pair of clasp at the top to help tighten like my last pair. It does take a little bit to get use to their weight. But I keep the weight of the boots for the excellent traction, warmth and dry socks.

I love these boots. They have a thick wool lining. They are stable on both ice and snow, good to 40 degrees below. Your feet will never be cold in these boots.

These are true to size and very warm. We just had a big snow storm in MI and I was happy to have these. I used them while shoveling almost a foot of snow and they kept my feet dry and warm.

I live in Russia ... and I can say with confidence - these boots are best for the Russian winter! We've got a national winter shoes made of felt wool, called "valienki", but they are somewhat outdated and banter look at the present, but Sorel Caribou is very appropriate for all their heat and is waterproof!

My Sorel's fit true to size, they were warm but a lil heavy(in which I already knew before purchasing them). We only got a few inches of snow here in NY today but I just had to put them on. I just love them.
