They are great warm comfortable winter boots. I had some fit issues initially as I am normally a 9.5 I ordered another style boot and they were way too tight/narrow so I exchanged for these ones and went a size up and they were way way too big so I would say size consistency between Styles seems a little off but once you can find the right size they are great boots. I am working 10 hours a day outside this winter and they are making it tolerable:)

This is my daughter's second pair of Sorel boots. She lives in them and loves the Shale color of her new pair. These are perfect for cold weather and ski vacations.

I have these boots for a couple of weeks now and I found them awesome. Quality? Perfect. Comfort? Impressive. It is simple. For me, buying another product would be a huge mistake. We do not want that. Make the right choice...

I purchase the Sorel boot probably twenty years ago. I wouldn't wear any other brand this boot has never failed me always keeping me warm and dry through some pretty hard Winters. But recently I decided I wanted a size nine instead of a size 8 and I couldn't be happier I gave my size eight to a friend there like brand new He couldn't be more impressed and wished he had bought some sooner. THANKS sorel for making my winters so warm and dry.

The boots are very warm and comfortable. I was worried about the fit, but I ordered my typical shoe size and they are just right with extra room for thick socks. They are definitely heavy and not ideal for mild cold, but are good for cold winter days with lots of snow.

These boots are amazing!! I have the Joan of Arctics and Conquest Carlys but I wanted a shorter style that could withstand Wisconsin winters and be worn to hockey games, and these are it! The quality is impeccable and they fit true to size. Not only are they incredibly warm, but they are stylish and sheek as well. I've already received multiple compliments. So bring on the snow!

I bought my pair 25 years ago. I paid $110 then, which seemed like a lot but I needed a good winter boot. At the time they were sold with 2 pairs of felt bootie inserts. I only started to use the second inserts last winter! Best purchase I ever made!

Parents Caribou are still going strong after 15+ years, now our teenager needed a new pair of snow boots. Very cool in the black/dark stone color. Thus far all the Sorel boots we had could be relied upon to keep our kids feet warm in the worst of conditions, looking forward to getting these tested in the snow.

This boot gets the job done. Stylish and functional - holds up to the test staying warm in really frigid temperatures, and staying dry, submerged in snow for a duration. Get lots of compliments about how "great" my boots are and look. Love Sorel, love these classics.

These are the best boots I've owned! I took these boots to northern Minnesota to the Boundary Waters on a winter camping trip where temperatures reached -30 degrees and my feet were toasty warm even in the waist high snow! I also wore these walking around at school during the tundra that hit Minnesota in January and my feet stayed warm . These are a great investment!

I practically live in Canada, and the winters are very cold, snowy, and last ~ 5-6months. I looked through the reviews for picking out the size that would best fit me. I run anywhere from a 7-8 in women's depending on the brand. I decided to go with the 8 and they have the room for me to wear a bulkier sock. I found that Sorel boots really are best for the winters up here, and recommend them to everyone.

After looking for a high-quality good-looking boot I settled with the Sorel Caribou. The fit and comfort pales in comparison to other boots I tried. The waterproof seam sealed was a must when shopping here in Lake Tahoe but what makes this boot great is the ability to remove and wash the removable ThermoPlus felt inner liner and the looks can't be beat. Watch how you will catch others looking at your boots they are eye-catchers. Richard

I have always loved Sorel's but my husband had never worn them until this pair. We were dealing with a longer then usual winter for our area and it was time for him to experience these boots. He is so impressed with the quality and fit of these boots. Others he had tried were never true to size as these boots are. Even though they are rated down to -40 degrees they have not become too warm, making his feet sweat which is another problem with lesser boots. He really likes the soles too as they gripe the snowy ground and hasn't felt the need to add extra traction to them when runny around. We both highly recommend this boot to others and plan to purchase more Sorel's in the very near future.

I had a pair that I found a few years ago at a DSW that were a size too small, but wanted to try these out. I liked those boots so much that it was time to buy a size that fits because they are great!!!

I grew up on a ranch in Montana so reliable snow gear was a constant necessity from October to April. When I turned 13 my mom bought me a pair of Caribou's in a bizarre coming-of-age family tradition...I was freed from cheap plastic snowboots that let snow pack around your ankles or crack after a month of sledding on the weekends. I remember her making a big deal out of it and I wasn't all that excited as a teenager to get these clunky boots (Ever a planner, she bought a size 10 - I even now only wear size 8.5 - so I could always wear thick socks and grow into them) but I don't know that I've ever loved or used a pair of footwear as much as those Caribous. They got me through the cold winters of junior high, high school, and then became my go-to commute boots in college.
That brings us to present day. My trusty first pair (just as reliable as 20 years ago) lives on at my parents' house for my use when I visit in the winter months but I recently got a second pair to have with me (now in Seattle) that I plan on having for the rest of my life. I am pleased to report that they are the correct size (ordered an 8 as indicated by Sorel's sizing chart - fits with just enough room for some cozy socks) and this time in the black, to switch things up a bit. I use them every weekend for pre and post cross-country ski adventures and plan on using them for winter treks next season. These are not the sleekest profile boot, but that's not why I get or love them - they are the warmest, comfiest, and highest quality, functional boot I've ever had the pleasure of wearing.

I went dogsledding in -18* F weather in Ely, MN and was loaned a pair of these boots! My feet never once got cold and upon returning home I bought this same boot for my next excursion up North! I found the fit to be slightly (very slightly) wider but you want your feet to be comfortable in extreme weather and to allow room for thick wool socks! Love Love Love this boot!

Lightweight warm and comfortable in snow, slush. I wear a men's size 11 shoe and ordered a 10.5 in these boots as others have suggested, and they are perfect. Happy to recommend these boots!

I love these boots! I was looking for a mid-height boot for time outdoors (fishing, exercising dog, etc) and for running errands that would be warm yet not as tall nor heavy as the Joans (which I also love). Sometimes in MN one needs the height of the Joans, but most often for a quick outing a shorter, lighter boot will do. They are heavy (but not as much as the Joans); if you are looking for a light boot these are not for you. These boots are comfortable and keep my toes warm even during extended times below zero. Easy on/off as well. I did order a size up as I have a wide foot; my daughter has a normal width, same length foot and ordered shoe size - both fit us well

These are amazing! They look just like the picture and run true to size. They're great for walking on snow and ice. Prior to purchasing these, I struggled to keep my footing while walking my dog. These have been a major game changer. Not only am I able to maintain my balance, but these also keep my feet super warm and dry.

Disclaimer: I'm a size 8, and ordered an 8.5 -- which I regret, as the boots wound up being a tad too large for me, even with a double layer of wool socks.
HOWEVER: I was out in Anchorage for about a week volunteering for the Iditarod. and these boots were very comfortable. The fact that they were just a bit too large didn't impede function at all. I was outside traipsing around in snow 90% of the time, and not only did these boots keep my feet totally warm, but dry.
