The are comfortable, warm but too wide, and the thin shoelaces do not really help to close shoe tighter.
Feel like a duck..

They don't move quite right, and feel like plain rubber boots. The sole is not supportive

Fit is true to size. Added insoles for better arch support and comfort. There is room to add it without taking out original insole

I only ever wear Merrell size 5 shoes and they usually fit to size. Unfortunately these size 5 boots run on the large side. Even wearing a thick sock and laces pulled up tightly, my heels were still sliding up and down inside these boots. As you do not go down another half size, sadly I need to return these boots.

Got those boots in February 2018. Really liked the look of them and was looking for reliable and warm winter boots for our winters in Montreal. I've basically wore them for a winter and a half. I'm really disappointed with the durability of the product. The leather is wearing out and scratched easily, boots are no more waterproof (even though I protected them again in December), laces are ripped, and the -25 is highly exaggerated!! I have purchased a lot of Merrell shoes and boots for hiking in the past and I've always been pleased. However, these winter boots are not as great as I expected. It seems like the good looks of the boots were the priority, and not the quality of the product.

This is my second winter in my boots, and I love them for their comfort. Unfortunately, at the beginning of this year the glue started letting go where the rubber sole attaches to the boot. With all the snow this year I've been getting wet feet. I love these boots but for the price I was hoping they would last at least two winters.

I have been wearing these in a relatively southern state an have been mostly satisfied. The size was true, No worries about having to size up. The boot looks good and did keep my feet dry. Received several compliments. See, I'm a northerner and living in a southern state I know how to prepare for winter weather.
My disappointments were; my feet and socks were dry but *felt* cold and damp when I used them on unshovelled pavement- this due to the lining being water proof but not the leather. The leather became wet/water logged and stayed cold and my feet felt colder than I expected and I questioned if they were wet but they were in fact dry.. So if you are walking on shoveled sidewalks maybe this is not an issue but if you need to get around on unshovelled ground; well I will look for a waterproof spray for the leather so it does not get so water logged.
Also there was some yellowing around the top of the rubber that is glued to the leather. Its hardly noticeable unless you are looking at the boots for craftsmanship. If I didn't need boots in a hurry, I might have exchanged them, I worry the yellowing means the glue won't hold but maybe it will. I bought these expecting them to last 5-10 years since I wear them on average of only 1 or 2 times a week. Now I'm thinking maybe 5y could be pushing it. But our winters are short and maybe that will help. For the price and the Merrell brand I had high expectations.

Relatively nice quality but the cost exceeds other comparable boots I have. Ion black, it doesn't look like a real leather boot but a real close look up close shows it is real leather. The size is a little narrow on the instep but length is a little longer so it's hard to make up the length in thick socks. Perhaps it's based on individual foot shape. I haven't been able to test the waterproof factor. Overall, it's an ok boot but like I said, you may want to compare with other brands with similar features cost wise.

I purchased these boots for dog walking and they instantly became my favorite footwear. they have a wide toebox that will even accommodate a custom orthotic and I forget that I am wearing them because they are so comfortable. They are a tad large but that leaves room for heavy socks, which I need because they are NOT waterproof. It appears to be a problem with the front of the boot because my socks are wet from my toes to the beginning of my instep after an hour of walking in snow or rain. Definitely sad about that as we get plenty of both in Cleveland.

The boot felt both comfortable and functional, I just didn't like how wide they looked on.

I wanted to love these so much! In Merrill I generally wear a size 11, you big foot girls know how hard it is when shoes arrive looking humongous... they fit with a lot of room too, even with hiking socks my feet swam around and I have an average width foot. Length was perfect though at the end of the seam section that holds the laces there was painful pressure on the top of my foot, I have mid-high arches. I tried them on three days at different times and natural soreness of feet though couldn't see that pressure point breaking in easily. They are clearly well made and are quickly warm just didn't work for me sadly. I had imagined them being a fit that could go from outdoors to urban if needed yet they are designed for serious snow climates where bulky boots are required.

These boots are really cute and I really wanted them to work. I have bought Merrell Shoes for years because I need good arch support and they are one of the few brands I can comfortably wear all day. Unfortunately, these boots made my feet hurt as soon as I put them on. I had to return them.

Read reviews that said they ran true to size, but they were a little large. Wish they were warmer.

Unfortunately had to send them back. They felt like the arch was in the wrong place and I had something pushing up into my right heal. Love Merrell's but every once in a while I run across a pair that has this problem. Sent them back to try something different.

I bought the taller version of these last year and was disappointed that my feet kept getting wet... They are supposed to be waterproof and I liked the way they fit but they turned out to not be the greatest winter boots. I even tried adding extra waterproofing and even that didn't help

All the other boots look the same. This boot differs slightly it's not as bulky, yet still has some weight. It's fitted so if your normal size is tight you may want to size up. It's warm and the color is beautiful.

This boot was uncomfortable and lacked support. The stitching where the tongue meets the upper was bulky and pushed into my foot, and that whole part of the upper pressed down on me. Also, no support. Also, felt 1/2 size small. The lower, slip-on version fit fine. This boot looks cute and is a nice concept, but poorly executed.

I was really looking forward to getting these boots but they're not quite what I had in mind. First, the leather is VERY stiff and they're really hard to pull on. That being said, the boots themselves are made from very stiff/tough leather. Not sure how long it will take to break them in. Wasn't planning on having to break them in, either. Also, if you're wanting them to keep your feet warm, like I was, they don't. I was shoveling, had them on, and noticed that my feet were cold. I decided to keep them only because I've already worn them and didn't want to go through the hassle of trying to return them.

It is comfortable, however, after 2 seasons of wearing started leaking. I don`t know how to fix it and how much I should pay for somebody to fix it. A friend of mine recommended this company as one of the best. I wouldn`t purchase any more of your shoes.

I loved the brown Tremblant Mid, but there were none in my size, so I thought well, the black seem good looking too. But in-person, I find them very disappointing. When I have them on, they kind of look like an old-fashioned pair of men's rain boots. Kind of ugly. Not particularly comfortable either. My first pair of Merrells; I was expecting a lot, but I'm disappointed.

Merrell has been my go-to footwear company for comfort and durability. However, these boots are very stiff and run small due to the fleece interior. They rubbed the backs of my feet and caused blisters the first time I wore them on a short walk around the block. I wanted to use them for walking in the snow or slippery wintry slush, but I may have to reconsider that. I will give them another try after I pad the backs of my heels with layers of Band-Aids.

Size runs really small. I wear a size 10 and couldn't wear them. They are really tight and narrow. Otherwise, nice, well constructed and lightweight.

I'm a half size and normally order the size up in merrell. These boots seemed like a full size bigger and the foot bed is very wide. The fur looks cheap. They would be much nicer looking without the fake fur. Love the style but the sizing runs large and I do t care for the fake fur. I will be returning them unfortunately.

These are durable boots with a casual outdoorsy urban style. The faux fur detail is very cute and functional. Water resistant is awesome. Sole had good treads. Arch support and the actual sizing could be improved but my biggest gripe about these boots is that it eats my socks! Despite wearing long wool crew socks under tights, these boots would eventually pull my socks down leaving them bunched up in a ball around my feet. It made walking or hiking in these boots a major pain. From doubling up my socks to putting shoe inserts, all my efforts to work with these boots have been unsuccessful. I would not recommend these boots.
