These sneaker boots are super comfortable and definitely feel like you're wearing a sneaker rather than a boot. Regarding insulation/temp control, they're fairly warm. At 30 degrees they keep my feet warm. At 20, my feet were still comfortable and at 10 my feet were still warm enough. Not toasty, but warm enough.
Here's the problem: they're not waterproof. Resistant, sure, but definitely not waterproof. I had water, not a ton, but enough to make my socks wet, come in from the seam around the toe. Maybe this was a bad unit or production run and others have waterproof shoes, I don't know. All I know is that the 2 that I bought were not waterproof.

These fit a big snug in the forefoot, but are super comfortable like a sneaker. Great for casual walking around and really do feel more like a sneaker than a boot. They're warm, too. Not super duper warm, but totally warm enough when the temps drop into the 30s and below.
However, THEY'RE NOT WATERPROOF. Despite the claims, at least my particular unit, they're definitely not waterproof. Water seeps in through the seam between the sole and the insole and my toes get wet. I'd like to think this is just a fault with this particular unit (or production run) and not something that each shoe of this model suffers from. But all I can say is what I've experienced. Hence the 2 star review. Warm, but not waterproof, and I bought them to wear in the slush.

The boots are very stylish. They are really comfortable for hiking, good on rainy days keeping feet dry. I have used them for two weeks but they look durable and well made.

This all around shoe is perfect for almost anything outdoors related. I deliver beer so I'm constantly jumping in and out of trucks, and working in some of the worse conditions. I'm not much of a boot guy so I was looking for a sneaker/boot combo more on the shoe side though. I stumbled upon this shoe at a store location unfortunately they didn't have my size in stock but they ordered it for me with complimentary one day shipping, which was awesome. This sneaker boot was exactly what I envisioned the fit is amazing with the option of possibly of going up a half size. So far I used them in rain and snow and must say I didn't expect my socks to be as dry as they were. Safe to say I'll definitely be looking into some of the other options they have because I enjoy the option of having more than one work shoe.

I loved them, I use them everyday and are the best, sometimes I'm walking through the snow or some puddles of water and I don't feel even a little wet. I would buy them twice!

I really like these shoes. Although they are not specifically for cold temperatures, it has gotten down into the sub-zero are here in the northeast and these keep my feet really warm. I run my dog in the snow with them on, and I commute around town. My feet remain dry and comfortable. I am a massive fan!

These shoes are warm. Bought them for casual winter / spring hikes near Tokyo. I can see them being a bit hot for summer, thus a lot of sweating.
I've taken them up light trails on Mt. Takao. Can't wait to bring them up on longer hikes.
I also wear them almost daily. It's a HUGE bonus that they are black and stylish.
I travel quite often and with these boots I don't have to worry about rainy weather.
I'll get another pair once these wear out.

When i saw this Hiking sneaker advertised i immediately had to have them. Seeing is believing so when they arrived they were packed so cool and as i opened the paper from them my eyes lit up like Christmas lights. They are everything i was hoping for and then some. I will definetely replace them with new ones when the time comes. I wear them everywhere and in all kinds of weather since they are waterproof. Northface has out done themselves and everyone else with this Hiking sneaker in my opinion........

These were ready to wear comfortably right out of the box for me. Fit very well with good warmth so. I'm up in northern Vermont, the snow is just picking up, but so far have been fine in the little we've had so far. A good buy.

They just need to be broken first, otherwise they can be too painful.

These boots are comfortable right out of the box. Great fit and I can't wait to use them for hiking. Great for use in the rain (living in the PNW), and the one time I wore them into the office thus far I got compliments on how good they looked. Great boot for a great price.

Bought these for a trip to Iceland and they worked perfectly. Kept water up, super comfortable regardless of how long they were on my feet. Didn't need to break them in or anything, they were good to go.

This is a great pair of shoes. So far I've hiked about 50 miles in them with up to 35 lbs on my back and no problems. At the end of a long day of backpacking, the shoe's grip has prevented me from slipping while hiking uphill. The only possible downside is that they feel tight (narrow) when I first put them on, but they eventually relax to fit my foot. My wife even thinks they look good.

I bought these because I was looking for a full synthetic boot to wear hiking. There are not very many choices on the market as most options utilize leather somewhere in the design, but these were the best looking to me. They fit true to my normal shoe size and work well for hiking on trails for me so far. They do irritate my heel after wearing them for a long time though (6-10 hours). I'm hoping they will get better as they break in more.
