This is a very comfortable shoe. It also looks great and I were them even with suit & tie. I've used them for long days of standing/walking and they have been great. Highly recommend.

Maybe I'm late to the game but the idea to put a presentable upper leather section on top of a trail shoe chassis is genius. These are very comfortable and stable although less snug than a laced shoe.

These are my second pair of Merrell shoes. The first pair wore like iron for 5+ years of hard use, and they are just now coming apart. These new ones are great. The fit was perfect (9.5), and they were comfortable right out of the box. I spent the first weekend with them at Red River Gorge in Ky. I'm not a rock climber by any means, but they gave great traction and comfort for a 60 year-old hiking over boulders and trails. If they wear as long and as hard as my other pair, I'll have the perfect shoe!

Excellent casual shoe for nearly every terrain. Heel grip is loose enough not to cause blisters but not quite tight enough in my opinion for steep hiking especially when going downhill.

Love Merrell, slips on easily after a couple times of use, comfortable, not heavy, enough support, can wear them every day all day. Tried another brand and wasted my money cause I had to go back to these.

1 1/2 years later the exterior still looks new. Still comfortable and getting some wear on the heel. Ordering my next pair now. This is the longest I’ve had a pair of shoes. It’s my everyday shoe and I do a lot of walking. Buy it!!

As a long-time Merrell wearer, I liked the narrow heal and wider ball of the foot fit that used to be the standard. These fit that requirement as I like to wear a thicker sock in cold weather or hiking that my everyday sock. These also seem to have more Achilles protection than normal and I anticipate the materials used will be more durable at the heel.
