I love the barefoot fit of Merrell glove shoes. I've owned several over the years. I was hoping to replace my Pace Glove 3s with these but the toe is too ugly. Fit and feel is the same though.

LOVE these shoes. I always struggle to find shoes that are wide enough in the toe box, and these are perfect. They are like a barefoot shoe with limited support/padding, but that is part of what I love about them. I use them for driving since they are thin and I can easily feel the pedals. They are also very low profile and not bulky at all.

After Merrell discontinued the Pace Glove, I assumed that the Trail Glove was its' improved replacement. No longer would I get wear and tear on the insteps (Ive put holes in all of my previous Pace Gloves in this spot lol). I was dismayed to find out that they were clunky and bulky. Back to the store they went.
I then tried on the Vapor Glove at the outlet in Waterloo, NY. Just like the Pace Glove, these shoes are awesome! Lightweight and so precise that you can point your toe in them. I love minimalist shoes and Merrell used to be the champ of minimalism. The clerk at the store said there is a chance Merrell will be discontinuing these. Say it aint so! Since it looks like the Pace Glove is kaput, this is the next best thing. Plllleeaasse keep making these uber-minimalist shoes! They have gotten me up 44 High Peaks and will be backpacking the NLPT with me this fall! No other company save for Vibram 5Fingers makes a product like this, and I know exactly how these will fit:-(

This shoe is lightweight, great to wear with no socks, and protects against the outside world! I ordered a 7.5 and it fits just right. I can waiver between a 7.5 and an 8, but I figured if I'm not wearing socks I'd like it to fit more snug than loose and it does. The color pops and even my toddler stopped to tell me how much he likes my new "exercise shoes".

I bought these to replace my New Balance minimus running shoes. I am so happy with them! I love how the laces have a bit of elastic to keep the shoes nice and snug. Love the bright colors! Highly recommend

I use these shoes for running and working out. The closest I can get to being barefoot.

I had an old pair that were a bit snug when I bought them (5 years ago). The sizing this time around is perfect. I bought them for a trip to Europe and road tested them at a big conference where I walked seven miles a day for several days in a row. They were so comfortable with hardly any need to break them in.

I'm soooo in LOVE with these shoes. Super light weight, fun color, and for me personally very comfortable. There is no type of arch support or comfort padding, but I could live in flip flops so these are just perfect for me. I wear them at work and it's like being bare foot (licensed massage therapist). I highly recommend.

Vapor glove 3, nice comfortable shoe. Nice air flow & you can feel the ground just enough so it's not uncomfortable. Highly recommend as a minimalist shoe.

Such a great shoe for working out and walking. I love wearing these. I also love the gey/purple/gold combination. The first time I wore for these for 2 consecutive long walks, my calf was very tight. I think it's a slight adjustment - tightness resolved. I might also ltry out the similar 'neutral' rise shoe designed for hiking for times when I plan on long walks.
I highly recommend this shoe.

I have a spinal cord injury and foot drop. I've worn Merrell Barefoot shoes like this for years now because I'm able to get more feedback from the ground under my feet which enables me to walk better and prevents falls. These shoes are so light and comfortable! I will never go back to wearing a shoe with a thick, heavy sole.
Interestingly, my doctor took notice of my shoes at one of my appointments and told me this type of shoe helps prevent foot drop. I knew I walked better in these shoes, but was happy to hear that he approved and the benefit wasn't just in my head.
Please don't ever stop making these! You have a customer for life in me! Thank you for making a show that reduces my fall risk and injuries!

These shoes are life changers! In recent years, I started walking/jogging for exercise, and ended up with pain in my hips, knees, and heels, even to the point that I would be limping at the end of the day. I started reading about barefoot shoes and I ordered a bunch of those hideous toe shoes. I didn’t care if they were ugly as long as they helped! Unfortunately, they were all extremely uncomfortable and none of them fit well. I decided to order these, as they seemed like a compromise between regular sneakers and “toe sock” sneakers. These are incredible. They were comfortable as soon as I put them on. I have logged twenty plus miles in them so far, and my pain is gone! Plus, I pretty much feel like I am barefoot when I jog or even hike, because my toes and feet can feel the terrain, but it is nice to have a layer to protect against thorns, rocks, etc. I am going to be a lifetime customer!

This sock-like shoes are the most comfortable walking shoes I have in a long time. I have wide feet and was curious about how they would fit me.
I was gladly surprised the first day I went for a walk and they felt like if I was barefoot! Thank you Merrell for creating healthy and intelligent shoes.

Owned for 14 months. I love the way these shoes look and feel on my feet! They are unlike any other shoe I've had before. I am usually size 8-9, and an 8 fit me snug at first but stretched out a little and quickly became the perfect fit. The mesh upper started coming apart at the ball only a few months in, but the damage did not spread to other parts of the shoe after that. The rubber sole is also just about worn through, but that is completely expected after a year. Of course, these are not insulating shoes by any measure and are not ideal for cold or icy conditions. I really like that they dry super quickly. I plan on trying out the trail glove next, but I would definitely consider purchasing this shoe again.

I've been wearing Vibram Fivefingers for years, but honestly I'm sick of having to wear special toe socks or worse go without and deal with the stink. And since my toes are a little crooked it's not an easy task getting each toe tucked into place.
I bought these to wear to the gym and they are perfect for me. The toe box has plenty of room for my wide feet and the soles are thin just like Fivefingers.
I'd also recommend:

I've always loved Merrell shoes, but these are the best for daily Florida living. They are so light weight and literally feel as if you're barefoot, I love that feeling. Merrell has one of the best shoe reputations and they certainly hit it out of the park on these. I originally bought the regular sneakers, which I love.....then I got the first generation barefoot shoes and now these Vapor Glove shoes. I gave all my other (inferior brand ;-) sneakers away. I'm a Merrell's girl.

Have only had for about a month but I'm pleased so far. Fit feels great. I'm a 6.5 and need a very wide toe box so ordered a 7. Could maybe use a smidge more width and tiny bit less length but close enough. Walking and running on treadmill feels great, still transitioning to running on harder surfaces. Very happy toes.

Bought these shoes so I could have some "barefoot" shoes that I could wear to work since they did not allow my other "barefoot" shoes to be worn. So far, they are pretty darn nice. They look great, the taper to the heel is nice, and having a regular lacing system is perfect (I LOATHE "speed" lacing systems). They also do their job perfectly in feeling comfortable and secure while walking, etc.
But here are some cons I've experienced. 1) They can be a bit on the tight side, especially when you first get them. I thought about sending them back but I decided to keep them to see if I could loosen them up a bit. After almost 2 weeks, they are quite a bit better. After the 1st week though, they can still be a bit tight. 2) The toe end/guard at the top of the shoe can hurt your big toe if not sized correctly. You either have to make sure your big toe sits perfectly underneath it or have the room so that it isn't even close to being underneath it as it can really push down on your big toe. Luckily, it has loosened up but if it hadn't, I would have had a problem with my left big toe being smashed down into the shoe. 3) The inside is not comfortable to wear without socks. Lastly, I'm pretty sure they aren't as wide in the toe box as I probably would have liked. I will admit that it is 100% better than regular tennis shoes but I feel like it still needs some room or that the upper material of the shoe needs to be just a little more on the flexible side. Other than those cons, this shoe is amazing and is holding up well so far! And like I said, it looks great to boot! :)
A Little Side Note: Concerning others' problems with the sizing, I do believe these may be true to size but from my buying experience, they were a bit on the smaller side. What happened in my case was that I bought a size 7.5 (though I used to wear an 8 to 8.5 in old tennis shoes) since the size I measured said that I should be that size (or possibly even a 7). So, even though they were smaller than what I expected, it might have been my fault with the measurements. So, I think the sizing is pretty on point and you shouldn't need to get a half size up.

These are my favorite minimalist running shoes. I used to wear normal athletic shoes, and I always felt like my feet were in a straight jacket. These shoes let me rotate my ankles fully, point and flex my toes, and feel the ground. Plus, the color is awesome! The only downsides are that they are chilly in winter (thick socks help) and aren't great for rocky hiking trails because you feel every little stone.

I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable these shoes are. I was worried they wouldn't feel the same as the earlier version of the Vapor Glove that I was wearing previously. The 3s are even better!
