My favorite winter boots. Stylish enough for the office, warm and lightweight with great grip in snowy and icy conditions. These are icy puddle proof. Following other reviews, I ordered a half size up, and always put on and take off with a shoe horn. Wearing thin socks and/or tights make it easier to put on/off too. Instep was initially tight but has loosened with wear.

These shoes felt bulky, although per reviews I ordered 1/2 size larger. I had very hard time putting my right foot in (and I didn't even try left), so with the smaller size I definitely couldn't, but smaller, my usual 8, would feel less bulky . Unfortunately, have to ship them back.

It's not you; it's me. These look great, but they are so narrow! I don't know if my toes are getting wider or if the style of boots are getting narrower, but this is the 4th pair of boots I've had to return this winter due to the narrowness. I like the style, so maybe it's just that I keep getting pairs that are too similar? Sadly, they're getting returned, but for those of you with narrow feet, these look great, and I'd feel comfortable walking around in winter with the types of soles that they have.

The prior reviewers were correct - definitely go up AT LEAST a half a size (maybe even a full size, depending on how wide your foot is). The shoe itself is quite narrow through the foot, if you do not go up - not sure if you'll be able to put it on.
Let me preface this next part by saying I LOVE SORELS. I have 4 pairs and love them. By far one of the most comfortable brand of shoes I have ever owned. With that said, this is my least favorite pair that I own.
The shoe is quite narrow through the foot and until the leather warms up and stretches, it's tight on my toes.
The elastic on the "shaft" of the bootie is great...but as someone who loves to cuff her skinnys and have a small gap between the jeans and the shoes - the elastic rubs the heck out of my ankle. This makes my skin raw and painful.
I love the slightly pointed toe of the bootie. I love how easy they are to put on. They're warm and waterproof during the winter and mucky part of spring. The heel is a great height and the sole has grip.
Once the leather is warmed up, they're quite comfortable. EXCEPT for that elastic.

These dont have a zipper so the opening is larger and even with the elastic it gaps a lot for me. I also have narrow ankles with long legs. The toe box is a weird shape and I found that they squished my toes on the sides which is a big no no for blisters. Also the toe shape looks weird.

I am returning these. I really wanted to like them, but the leather goes up too high in the front and puts weird pressure on your ankle making them uncomfortable. I also say these run about a half size too small, so you might want to size up. I always wear an 8 and I would have exchanged for an 8.5 if I was going to keep them.

I ordered the same size I have always worn in sorel. These were hard to get on and way too small. The toe box was really narrow and I don’t have a wide foot. It’s like they changed their entire sizing. I have had several pairs of Sorel and the 2 ordered do not fit the same at all.

Since I already had a beloved pair of Sorel After Hours Booties in the style with buckles, I thought these would bea no-brainer. Unfortuately, without the zipper, these were so difficult to put on I was a fraid I'd give myself blisters before I even started walking around. Gorgeous boots--I tried them in two colors--but sadly had to return.

Based on the prior reviews I order a 1/2 size up. However, even with the 1/2 size larger the toe area is just a bit short. It took a week or so to really break them in. They are well made and comfortable but would not recommend for a full straight day of walking or standing. I really like the styling of this boot so I bought both colors. The tan is taking longer to break in. Pretty easy to slip on but you definitely need two hands and a good pull to get them off after a long day wearing. When doing so one of the insoles dislodge itself. There is no zipper and you cannot use your other foot for leverage to slide them off.

I reaaaaaaaaly wanted to love these. The page and all the reviews indicated to order a 1/2 size up, I did, and they are too big, both in the toe and my heel slips. Returned for 10.5, but those didn't work either. My heel still slips and the right shoe was stretched out by about 1/2". It's like someone tried on just the right shoe, stretched out the collar and then returned it. The problem is, if they eventually stretch and gape that much at the top, I'm not interested. I love Sorel and Zappos, just couldn't make these work. Very comfortable and cute otherwise.

I was super excited about all of the "After Hours" boots and am normally really impressed with Sorel boots, but with this one, I was kinda deflated. The pointed toe is mightily uncomfortable - even after ordering a half-size up per the previous reviews. By the end of the day, I just want the boots off and that's not normally how I feel wearing Sorel boots.
